“Stopped by for a coffee and a sweet, very cute little shop. My pistachio macaron was the usual perfection (my very favorite flavor), and the cappuccino was hot & fresh. I prefer my pavlovas a bit crispier - the pastry cream was a little thin for my taste. The flavor was excellent, though, and it's my personal idiosyncracy to prefer less liquid - I find it makes the meringue slightly chewier than I like. That's on me, not the shop. Service was friendly and efficient, both were extremely helpful and kind. I definitely would come here on a regular basis did I live in the area!”

Second, everyone is so kind from emails to in person purchases. We’ve been using Vanille for all of our most special events and then of course for a fun treat when we are in town! We most recently used them for a cake for our son’s baptism and it was perfect! I wanted the same flavor from our wedding with the chocolate chip cookie dough filling! The best!!”

“One of the best bakeries in Chicago. The pastries are delicious! I've gone back here multiple times just for the tarts and probably tried most of them. The macarons are pretty good with a pretty big variety of flavors and the croissants are really soft and delicious. Highly recommend if you want to try French desserts!”
