“Awesome service and food! We were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. They even asked for my husband’s favorite childhood snacks and surprised us with those snacks at the end of the dinner! Also the presentation and storytelling of each dish were next level. We enjoyed both the look and taste of all the dishes. Their hard work, attention to details, excellent service and delicious food deserve a Michelin 3 star :)”

“Food was amazing and the presentation gave Atelier Crenn vibes withe the amazing stories and plating. The service was attentive and almost seemed like a dance. The wine pairing was a solid B+ as I think there are some wines which might have paired better. This is a place that you should check out if you love fine dining and wonderful service. Chef Julian came out a few times and chatted with us on signature dishes which was awesome and he is a genune master of his craft”

“Dining at Vicinity was an incredible experience. Every dish was thoughtful and intentional, and it made me see California in a new way through the chef’s viewpoint and use of local ingredients. There was a story behind each course & some of the plates they were served in! The California wine pairing we went with complemented the menu beautifully. We were blown away by their Nocino. The atmosphere is very intimate. The tables are hidden behind a curtain at the back of the restaurant, which makes the experience feel almost like you’ve stepped into something private and special. I’ll share a few photos, but honestly, this is something people should experience for themselves. The presentation alone sets Vicinity apart from other tasting menu restaurants I’ve visited. It was memorable from start to finish.”

“Unfortunately my time at VICINITY was disappointing. The service was good, the atmosphere was great (only three tables!), but the food had room for improvement. In particular the taste - none of the dishes were exceptional, a couple we actively disliked, but most were just “meh”. Our favorites were the lamb and the rockfish; other than that, most dishes didn’t leave any lasting impression. And, when you charge Michelin star prices (just under $2k for a party of four), I’d expect Michelin quality food. VICINITY didn’t live up to expectations in that regard. I won’t be coming back.”
