“Great indoor and outdoor space. Indoors is noisy in the dining area, less so in the bar. Great selection of cocktails and amaro. We got the amaro flight, a selection of 4 by the very knowledgeable bartender. The food is very tasty, but healthy options are somewhat limited (OK fair enough - it is an Italian place, I should expect the carbs and cheese).”
“As Saratoga Dental Care, we can confidently say that our annual holiday dinner at Vina Enoteca has become one of our most cherished traditions over the past four years. Every single time, the experience has been exceptional. The food is consistently amazing, and the ambiance creates the perfect setting for a memorable evening. One of the highlights for our team is the special menu the chef prepares just for us—it’s truly next level and something we look forward to every year. A special thank you to Rocco, the owner, who has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome—we genuinely consider him a friend at this point. The drinks, expertly crafted by Giovanni, are always a hit, and the service has been nothing short of top-notch. Maritza, Alberto, and William have taken such great care of us, making each visit smooth, warm, and enjoyable. We make the trip all the way from Saratoga to Palo Alto, and it is absolutely worth it every time. We highly recommend Vina Enoteca to anyone looking for outstanding food, drinks, and service—and we’re already looking forward to being back again this year!”
“Always a lovely experience dining here, what with the peaceful ambiance and easy parking situation. We had an unwanted guest at one point (a wasp) & the staff immediately took action to move us inside. Not pictured was a delicious peach torta, consumed within seconds. Always look at the dessert menu :)”
“The restaurant has a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Overall, the food is pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom pizza, with its perfectly crispy crust and fresh, flavorful mushrooms. The carpaccio was also excellent, featuring a well-balanced flavor with arugula, capers, a touch of cheese, and egg yolk. However, I wouldn't recommend the grilled octopus (Polipo d'Estate); despite the tasty sauce, the octopus itself was mediocre and had a rubbery texture, likely from being frozen too long. Overall, it's a pretty good place.”
“We saw this place months ago and have been excited to try it. After a couple failed reservations, we finally made it! The atmosphere outside was perfect due to the plants and lighting. From glancing at the menu it seemed overpriced. And it was. The food was good without a doubt, but i've had better pasta for less than $30+ for such a small portion size. And better house wine for less than $20 per glass. The small pour of cabernet had quite a but of sediment in the glass. However, the service was fantastic! Everyone was so kind and quick to assist with any need. In summary, it is a good place. Unfortunately, I just would not recommend, due to it being over priced. Again, I've had better pasta for less money and includes a larger portion size. It is rare that I eat a meal without left overs, but I ate the pasta and was still hungry, due to the inadequate portion size for over $30. It was a good experience, but will not go back.”
