Established in 1983, Yamhill Valley Vineyards is the oldest winery in the McMinnville AVA. Our wines are 100% estate grown and produced from our 150-acre estate located in the rolling foothills minutes from downtown McMinnville, an hour from Portland. Visit our amiable Tasting Room year-round for wine tasting and charcuterie with vineyard views, relax under the oak trees on the back deck, or take a deeper dive with one of our seasonal tasting experiences in the vineyard or the cellar. The heart of our winemaking is dedicated to Pinot Noir with Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé, and Riesling rounding out our production. From our beginning we have been stubbornly dedicated to the pursuit of a character that is distinctively Oregon and distinctively Yamhill Valley. Our goal is to bring forth from this unusual and exciting property the finest possible expression of its intensity, charm and uniqueness.
“We did a wine tasting with Sarah and had a incredible time. She was informative and very patient. She explained the different types of grapes used and overall a little history of the winery. The location is absolutely stunning! We were so happy to stop here on our way to Portland. We will definitely stop again if we are in the area.”

If you're interested in getting a deeper understanding of the winemaking process and love to explore the outdoors, I cannot recommend the Guided Vineyard Tour enough! Ariel, the head winemaker, was very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with on the 2 mile hike around the estate. Best to go when there's overcast as there is no canopy to provide shade”
“Very picturesque place, with outdoor patio seating. Loved their Riesling flight, my favorite! The patio was surrounded by beautiful trees and the view of the vineyard. Definitely recommend. My friends and I went to 3 places in McMinnville and this one was definitely on top!”

“An amazing experience with a great selection of wines. YVV is a household name in this wine AVA with a large selection of wines from the area of it's namesake. Our experience included two different flights of wines. While our server was by herself on this relatively busy Sunday, we never once felt like we were forgotten. Great quality wine at very reasonable prices for the area. It's easy to understand why they are as popular as they have become. Can't wait to return!”
