WaitlistWizard watches restaurant reservation systems for tables that match what you asked for and texts you when one opens. Subscribers on a paid plan can also text the WaitlistWizard concierge to search for tables, check on their watches, and set up new ones.
This is an informational and transactional program tied to your own account activity. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages, and we never sell or rent your number.
Text messages are entirely optional. Your account, your subscription, and your watches all work without a phone number.
To opt in, sign in and go to waitlistwizard.com/profile, enter your mobile number, and check the consent box. The box is unchecked by default and reads: "I agree to receive text messages from WaitlistWizard about my reservation watches and dining plans, including conversational replies from the WaitlistWizard concierge. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
We then text a one-time code to that number. We store the number only after you enter the code, so every number in the program has been confirmed by the person holding the phone. You can remove your number at any time from the same page.
Because this form sits behind a login, the screenshots below show the complete opt-in experience exactly as a user sees it.

A subscriber who has opted in may add the WaitlistWizard concierge number to a group text with their own guests in order to plan a meal together. The subscriber starts that thread and conveys the group's consent by doing so.
The first message the concierge sends in any new group identifies the service and gives opt-out instructions. After that it replies only when someone addresses it by name. If any participant replies STOP, that person is opted out of all WaitlistWizard messaging and the concierge stops posting to the thread entirely — we cannot send a group message that excludes one member, so the whole thread goes quiet.
Message frequency varies with your own activity — how many watches you have running and how often you text the concierge. Most users receive between 0 and 20 messages per month. We do not send proactive alerts between 9pm and 8am in your local time; anything found overnight is delivered the following morning.
Message and data rates may apply. WaitlistWizard does not charge you for text messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates for messages and data apply according to your plan.
Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, or CANCEL. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages from that number. In a group thread, STOP from any participant silences the concierge for the entire thread.
You can also remove your phone number from your profile at waitlistwizard.com/profile, or email us at info@waitlistwizard.com. Any reasonable request to stop — including in plain language, such as asking us to leave you alone — will be honored.
To start receiving messages again after opting out, reply START, or re-add and re-verify your number in your profile.
Reply HELP or INFO to any message for a description of the program and opt-out instructions, visit waitlistwizard.com, or email info@waitlistwizard.com.
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and Google Voice, among others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and a reservation alert may arrive after the table it describes is gone.
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you enroll. Do not enroll a number that is not yours.
Your mobile number and your consent to receive text messages are not shared with or sold to any third party or lead generator for any purpose, including marketing. See our Privacy Policy at https://www.waitlistwizard.com/legal/privacy for how we handle the rest of your information, and our Terms of Service at https://www.waitlistwizard.com/legal/terms.
