“Excellent all around. The portion-size-to-price ratio is exceptional, and the food is fantastic to boot. However, our favorite part of the experience was the service! We had a table of seven on an unexpectedly busy night for the restaurant. Even being down 3 servers, all the orders were taken and brought out in quick fashion. Servers were so friendly and helpful. The beer is pretty good too! Mass street may be popular, but this place is worth a visit whenever you're in Lawrence!”
“Visiting from out of town and popped in on New Years Day and was surprised to see the entire restaurant decorated for Christmas. It made the experience that much more fun! Our family all three ordered different food items and drinks and all were exceptional !”
“Food was really good! Found a piece of plastic in my food and reported it and they took the food off my bill. The server was really nice about it and I appreciate that! They were really busy so service was a tad bit slow but our server did the best she could with how many tables she had! The valentines atmosphere was super cute and cozy. I will go back again :)”
“not impressed. got take out so I always expect it to not be as good as if I would have ate at the restaurant, but I don't really think that matters in this case. got a burger, fries, and mac n cheese. the burger and fries weren't bad. was told mayo, mustard, and pickle were available upon request. requested and got condiment packets that I had to dig out of the cheese on my burger and pickles spears that I couldn't even add to my burger. then the Mac and cheese was inedible. it tasted like someone made some really crappy homemade gravy, seasoned it with some garlic or onion, and then threw some pasta shells in it. all you can taste is flour and garlic or onion. Definitely not worth the price and I doubt I will spend my money here again.”
“Went there to watch a KU Basketball Game. We decided to do Fireball Shots on good events in the game. Didn't think to ask.the cost. They charged $10 a shot for fireball. Server did not warn us until we got the bill. 4 shot for $40. Most bars are $2 to $5 for fireball. Never thought to ask. Let the server know of the disappointment. But she did not care. They just said sorry and agreed it was $$$. Paid my bill and will never return. They saw us coming. Lesson learned. Only drink beer there. Food is also $$$$. And it is just normal bar food.”
