“This place is awesome. Has the brisket, burnt ends, wings, pork belly with Mac and cheese. All were excellent. Our server, Melody, was amazing and helped guide us in the right direction. Don’t leave without trying the bread pudding dessert! We will be back every time we come through town.”
“Wonderful dinner at Q39 in Lawrence. The staff was so wonderful. So glad we made a reservation. It was packed. The burnt ends "Mr Burns" sandwich was amazing. Loved the Mac and cheese too. Everything was so good. I also really loved getting to try some local brews🍻 So glad we chose to eat here..”
“Had the pulled pork, smoked turkey and sausage from the Judge’s Plate - meat was great. Seasonal veggies were awesome. But the best part was dessert. Something I didn’t expect. We had a big group of people and tried almost all desserts and they were impeccable. Carson was super sweet and helpful serving our table.”
“Q39 was an awesome place to eat, and the food was amazing and full of flavor. Our server Carson was really nice and super cool, which made the experience even better. I would definitely go back again because everything about it was great.”
“My daughter and her husband come to visit from Colorado. They are excited to experience kc bbq. We push the accelerator to arrive here (it's a brand new place). It is NOISY indoors so yes! Request outdoors if you are unable to turn down your hearing aids! Jocelyn, our server, makes her way to our table in a timely fashion and WHOOSH! our drinks arrive posthaste! HURRAH! We order the cauliflower bites appetizer. They are super crispy just as described and the buffalo sauce? OH MAN! EXTREMELY FIRE MY FRIENDS! Just a solid HELL YAH on that sauce! I ordered the brisket tacos for supper. I'm plated 2 soft corn/flour tortilla combo (according to Jocelyn) tacos with one strip of brisket on the bottom and a mound of cabbage, etc. On the top. Ok, first of all, the tortilla tastes alot like flour (i don't see the corn combo). Second, the one strip of brisket is minimal and buried under cabbage. Lastly, the aoili (sp) sauce is minimal so ask for more because it's what makes this delicious. I've had the original in kc. This location wasn't up to par. YET. I'll go back and check it out.”
