wagyu smash burgers, legendary margaritas & seasonal menu all in a cozy, beachy cottage setting. it's gonna be good!!
“A cozy spot along the way. Delicious food. Especially the steak — tender and juicy. Be careful with the cauliflower — it’s very spicy! But that’s not mentioned on the menu.”
“Wow. The food was absolutely amazing! The Mac & cheese rigatoni was the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Plus the margarita I had was perfect and my partner loved the lager beer. Highly recommend!”
“I don't give 5 stars often but there's something about this place. The food was as good as everyone says. I opted to go for the tri-tip this time and was not disappointed. Perfectly cooks on a perfectly toasted bun. No fancy frills or gimmicks, just a solid sandwich. Atmosphere was fantastic with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is a bit limited, but as to be expected based on location. I'm staring this on my maps. And officially issuing this place a josh star of excellence.”
“Best smash burger I've ever had. I love burgers so the bar is high. Drink was good too. (Coffeee martini type) Not a fan of the ipa they carry. Will be back to try again.”
“TLDR: Would highly recommend, with a few caveats in food inconsistency, service, and ambiance. One of the best breakfast burritos in south OC!!!! I’ve been coming here for about 5 years now, and as I returning guest, I will say that the food is very tasty. The breakfast burrito has been on par every single time, and I would highly recommend it, as I often find myself coming just for that. So if you’re like me and are always searching for a solid, well rounded breakfast burrito, this will become a staple of your restaurant list. On that note, however, there are some inconsistencies that explain my review’s rating. At times, certain items on the menu, like the burger, the chicken sandwich, egg sammie, and labneh toast, fall short of previous experiences. One day it’ll be incredibly savory and tasty, the next day it’ll be absent of flavor or incredibly greasy, which can be disappointing especially given the fairly elevated prices. With tax and tip, you may end up paying $20+ for something disappointing. Moreover, seating and service is pretty lackluster. I understand seating is something they can’t control too much, so I understand that part. But in an already cramped environment, they tend to play music quite loud; blaring music that tends to jump between multiple genres which makes it so that conversation volume is a shouting voice (especially if you're unfortunate enough to sit under a speaker). Sometimes you’ll get a nice stream of vibey, fitting music. But I’ve learned not to take it for granted. Finally, service needs improvement. Like the food, it is inconsistent---either prompt or lagged, independent of how busy it is. Overall, I would highly recommend this place as a nice local spot to dine for brunch and/or dinner, and I will continue to come back for a few staple items on their menu.”
