“If you're a Benedict fan, stop what you're doing and make a reservation at Anthera immediately. I just had the best eggs Benedict of my life, and I'm not exaggerating. Their version features lump blue crab with bacon on sourdough toast, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The crab was sweet and generously portioned, the bacon added the perfect salty crunch, and that sourdough base gave it a heartiness that elevated the whole dish. The hollandaise was silky and rich without being heavy. This is what eggs Benedict dreams of being. Our server Jacob made the experience even better. He was genuinely friendly, clearly knew the menu inside and out, and gave us great recommendations without being pushy. Service like that makes such a difference. Bonus for dog owners: they welcome pups on the enclosed patio, which was surprisingly cozy thanks to large ceiling heaters keeping the space toasty warm. My dog was comfortable the entire time, and I didn't have to rush through my meal. Anthera has officially become my go-to brunch spot.
