“Applewood Winery is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the rustic barn atmosphere made us feel right at home. We did a wine flight using their signature tower holders — such a fun and unique way to taste through their selection. The whites were crisp and refreshing, and the reds were bold and beautifully balanced. We paired our tasting with the charcuterie board, which was god but portions were small and meats were cheap grocery type . Cheese was great though. The staff (Rich) was knowledgeable and friendly and nice to chat with. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking for a relaxing afternoon out, Applewood delivers on every level. Highly recommend — we'll definitely be back!”
“My husband & I went to Applewood Winery with good friends of ours on Sunday (2/15/26) & had a great time! I read on the website that you could make reservations to sit inside, which I did. There was a Valentine's wine & cheese event going on & we got the last table, which was a hightop with uncomfortable seats & was right next to the door. After taking our drink order, our waitress (Shannon) asked if we wanted to move to a bigger table which had just become available. We did & it was so much better! Shannon was very friendly & accommodating. As I don't drink wine, I ordered an applejack hot toddy, after Shannon said it was very good. She was right! It was delicious! I was very happy that they had cocktails & ciders besides the wine. Everyone else had the wine tasting, which is presented in a very unique way. The wines came on a metal stand, which reminded me of a winding staircase. It was very cool! Everyone enjoyed their different wines & even ordered cocktails once their wine was finished. We ordered 2 charchauterie Boards which were plentiful & delicious! We also ordered a pretzel, which was yummy as well. All in all, we had a great time! I would definitely recommend trying Applewood Winery. You won't be disappointed!”
“Great experience, music and food, a great find me and my husband found today. We did a wine tasting flight very good. Also tried the Sauvignon Blanc as well, was my favorite. They had a bbq food truck and brick oven pizzas as well. The food and wine prices were very reasonable. We had the Bavarian pretzel so good it was large. We will be back soon.”
“We had a wonderful time here. They had several different kinds of flights for tasting. We liked that they came on a tasting tree. The tasting room was kind of like an indoor outdoor garage, so it wasn't fancy but it got the job done! Zach was very kind and knowledgeable. We got a cheese plate, and I think they actually have a menu at times as well. They had heat lamps and a stove that kept us toasty. Bought a few bottles to take with us -- recommend the Cabernet Franc.”
“We have stopped in for a glass of wine each year during our fall pilgrimage to Orange County. The view is spectacular and the small plate offerings are great. You can sit inside or outside and the location has plenty of parking. The wines are very drinkable as are the ciders. It's definitely worth the trip”
