This summer, we’re bringing back one of our most beloved dining experiences — The Postcard Series — with a new chapter we’re calling Nights with the Chef’s Wife.These intimate evenings invite you to experience Maine’s coast through the people who know it best. Corrinna will be dusting off the chef coat to create a coursed meal that celebrates the land, the sea, and the community that connects them. We’ll begin the evening the Maine way: oysters on the beach, freshly harvested and served with a glass of bubbles as the tide moves in.From there, guests will gather at the table for a four-course dinner prepared by Corrinna, inspired by the flavors of the season and the surrounding landscape. This summer, we’re excited to introduce something special: Sunday Lobster Gatherings at Blake Cove Farm on Westport Island!Select Sundays this Summer, we’ll welcome a small group of guests to a private waterfront property where the afternoon is meant to be enjoyed slowly. Come early and explore the land and sea—walk through the woods, wander down to the beach, and take in the quiet beauty of the island.We’ll begin the afternoon with fresh oysters served by the water, harvested right here from Westport Island. Then, at 4:00 PM sharp, the lobsters will come steaming out of the pot.Dinner will feature a classic Maine lobster boil, including:• Fresh lobster from the lobsterman who lives on the property• Red potatoes• Corn on the cob• Steamers• House cornbreadTo finish, we’ll serve classic Maine pie—either strawberry or blueberry depending on what’s in season.A cash bar will be available on site, and with only 30 spots per gathering, these afternoons are meant to stay intimate, relaxed, and true to the spirit of a Maine summer.If this sounds like your perfect Sunday, we recommend reserving early before seats are gone.
