The Well was established in 2010 and is located in the beautiful seaside town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine (15 minutes from Portland). We are situated on Jordan's Farm, which is a 4th generation working produce farm on 122 acres of beautiful land. We take great pride in sourcing our ingredients as close to home as possible. Most of our food comes straight from Jordan's Farm and surrounding farms in Cape Elizabeth. Our chefs tasting menu is a 5 course blind tasting menu that changes on a daily basis. This menu highlights the very best of the season, with every ingredient hand selected by the chef. Our family style offering is more of a communal experience. Featuring 3 courses on self serving platters-starting with a large format salad, followed by smoked meats, seafood and seasonal starches and vegetables. We work hard to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience. For those of you wishing to experience the farm without reservations, we invite you to come join us around the fire pit for a cocktail, or glass of wine and some light snacks. If booking with a gift certificate please email us directly at-thewellatjordansfarm@gmail.com with the available reservation date, time and # of people and we will be happy to help. Hope to see you! You may cancel your prepaid reservation anytime up to 7 days in advance without penalty. Cancellations made 4-6 days prior will be 75% refunded, 2-3 days in advance will be 50% refunded. Reservations that are cancelled within 24 hours or go unattended will not be refunded.

“Last night we had a wonderful celebration meal with 3 good friends. It was my 3rd time eating at “the well” and I have to say each time has been a fantastic meal. The super fresh farm to table ingredients can’t be beat, quality culinary craftsmanship , attention to detail, and the plating were stand out if not stellar. My greatest appreciation for this place is their general willingness to happily work with food restrictions. I am always nervous when eating out that my food needs make me seem high maintenance and difficult. The waitstaff made me feel like the modifications I needed were no big deal. And my personal favorite - Arriving early for first sitting - alla carte menu - at the open air picnic tables w/shared seating.
