“Without exaggeration, this is the nicest bar in San Antonio. And that’s coming from someone who has visited bars in many other cities — this one stands above the rest. The ambiance is elegant yet comfortable, the energy is just right, and the overall experience is consistently impressive. The mixologists here are truly top-tier. Their knowledge, creativity, and attention to detail make every drink feel customized and intentional. You can tell they take pride in their craft — and it shows in every cocktail. My only small suggestion would be about the bartender station rotations. Sometimes the bartenders change where they’re standing, and if you’ve connected with a particular mixologist who knows your preferences, it can feel a little awkward having to call out across the bar or search for them. Not a major issue at all — just something that could make an already excellent experience even smoother. Overall, we absolutely love this place. It’s refined, consistent, and by far one of the best bar experiences we’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend”

“Bar 1919 was amazing! Everything that we tried was absolutely amazing. We had many drinks from the Happy Hour menu and all were delicious. We had the Hotel Nacional, Easy Autumn, Tequila Honeysuckle, Oaxan Old-Fashioned, and a few others. When we got there at 4:00 PM on a Wednesday we were the only ones there for a while.”
