“Upscale restaurant where service and food are on par for what would be expected. Good variety of beef, as well as fish, poultry, pork, and lamb. Dessert choices were excellent, although we did not partake this time. Our host Mariah (you cannot in good conscience call the professipnal team just wait staff) made you feel welcomed and stayed focus on you. Food presentation is simple. Cocktails were perfect. Wine list is very good. Spend time enjoying the service and food, don't rush. If going to nearby theater, they will hold leftovers for you to pick up after the show.”
“This was an absolutely amazing food experience from start to finish. All staffing was very attentive and kind. Answered any questions and gave opinions on items as well. We were not rushed in any way. Our server was Juan and he was just wonderful. The food was top notch of quality, flavor and plating. When we are back in San Antonio we absolutely will be back. Beautiful interior and atmosphere.”
“Excellent doesn’t begin to describe our dining experience. From the atmosphere that draws you in to the 5 star service we enjoyed throughout, we knew we were on for a special night. You can’t miss with the wagyu steak or the signature cocktails. Easily the best dinner we had during our stay in San Antonio.”
“My husband reminded me before giving this place its stars, the establishment is not responsible for other guest behaviors. While this is true, it did alter our experience. While trying to celebrate our Anniversary the table beside us was so loud and fouled mouth I truly felt like I was sitting in a sports bar. We were placed on the 2nd floor in the window area. I had to listen to profanity non stop. Wasn’t able to hear our own conversation. We were greeted by extremely nice servers. Who gave complimentary champagne, appetizer jalapeño cream cheese dip, bread, & a celebratory small dessert. We were very appreciative of these items. Our wedge salads were inconsistently plated. One with little dressing the other drenched. The bacon used was very much like bacon bits from a bag. As well as the bread served, not homemade, from a grocery store bag as well. My only bad critiques on food. My husband’s Ribeye steak was one of the best cuts he’s had. Cooked perfectly like he requested. Juicy, marbled, and full of flavor. As well as seasoned on the outside to his liking. He also added truffle steak fries. The portion was generous. I went with the Macadamia encrusted gulf red snapper. It was plated beautifully. The freshness with the crunch paired with the orange sauce was delicious. Our entrees were outstanding and lived up to the reviews of past customers. The service was flawless. As far as an intimate atmosphere for anniversaries I wouldn’t suggest. They cater to business & conference ppl, with a highlight on alcoholic drinks which in return create loud unaware people. We’ll be back on a regular occasion for steak & fish.”
“Best experience ever! From the moment we walked in until the time we left, the customer service was exceptional. Rick came and introduced himself along with a few others, but he was especially knowledgeable and made the entire experience great. I highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed the ribeyes, while my daughters had the crab cakes and snapper. The sides and the appetizers were amazing as well. My husband and I also enjoyed a few cocktails, and they were so good. I wish we had room for dessert so I could have tried their coffee too—I can only imagine how good it must be. We will definitely be back the next time we come through San Antonio!”
