BAR NONNINA BRINGS OLD-WORLD, INTIMATE BAR EXPERIENCE TO THE INNER SUNSET. Just past Fiorella’s dining room, through the kitchen and back of house, you’ll find an unassuming door. Muster the courage to shirk conventional dining etiquette to open it—breezing past diner and employee alike—and you’ll be rewarded with an intimate and clever Cocktail bar experience paired with Italian small plates.
“This is a cozy bar with great vibes and drinks. The menu has enough options for bites, drinks, even a delicious dessert! The drinks are very unique and balanced.Shannon(the bartender helped us with all our questions and was very attentive. I would recommend coming here with a reservation(or even come before/after fiorella).”
“Simply the cutest spot! NYC vibes in Sf! They start you off with a welcome drink as they take you upstairs in the back of the restaurant and you are in a small room that only seats 14 people. Loved the bartender and waiter. Delicious drinks. The Galileo was my fav. Definitely going again!!”
“8/2024: I came here and got the flight of cocktails, which were delicious. Perhaps the best cocktail bar in the Sunset! Great vibes in a small intimate space. 2/2025: I have returned for the second time. The bar remains wonderful! I tried the old fashioned and the fernwood and both were delicious. I do wish they would expand their menu and continue experimenting with new cocktails. I will also add that their front of house is somewhat slow when it comes to service, and the new robo-messaging service you get when you call is somewhat frustrating.”
“Small and cozy craft cocktail bar in the Inner Sunset. It only fits 10 seated and 5 people standing at the bar - so make sure to do a reservation. The cocktail menu changes periodically too.”
“Very tasty food and drink. However, the experience was ruined by lack of air conditioning and fans. It was one of those rare SF days when the temps were in the mid 70s and it was unbearably hot in the bar. The bartenders and all patrons were sweating like crazy and there was only one tiny fan. Please get air conditioning or at least fans to keep the staff and guests comfortable when it gets hot!”
