Established in 1977, on the charming Ark Row in downtown Tiburon, Servino has always been a town favorite for both locals and visitors alike. After spending 22 years on the Waterfront, the Servino Family is now back in the original Trattoria where it all began, this time with the addition of an Enoteca & Bar next-door in the historic "Yellow Ark" complete with a garden patio. Our menu is inspired by the seasonal bounty of Northern California, with classic and traditional preparations guided by the tenets of regional Italian cooking, with a special emphasis on the clean flavors of Southern Italy. The same ingredients that make it to our dinner menus, also find their way into Cocktail program, highlighting seasonality with an Italian twist. Likewise, the all-Italian Wine Program follows the same lineage, highlighting both Classical and Natural producers that are guided by their surroundings and work in harmony with the land. We welcome you into our dining spaces as if you were coming to our house or our homeland to celebrate a special occasion and live like you are part of the family. We look forward to welcoming you back, and continuing the legacy for many years to come. Salute e Boun Appetito!
“WOw! Wow! Wow! We celebrated my friend's 50th birthday dinner with an intimate group of 3 and it was a perfect night. We started with celebratory cocktails in the Enoteca bar right (very cool vibe, beautifully designed cocktail bar - great energy and the bartenders were friendly and made really great cocktails)! My friend (birthday girl) is from NYC and is a true stickler about her dirty martinis and the long-time bartender Jose made it PERFECTLY! She was very pleased. I ordered an Espresso martini which was balanced and so delicious. We then went right next door to the main restaurant a different vibe - and equally as amazing! (Huge plus is that you can also order the full menu in the Enoteca / bar area if you wish, but we decided to change things up and go next door). The dining area is elegant and intimate with perfect soft lighting, music and ambiance. We were taken care of by Sam who was wonderful friendly and described the seasonal truly farm-to-table ingredients of the pastas, fish, meats, and wine with detail and wow - we were so impressed! We ordered the Brentwood corn soup to start (outstanding)! The squashblossoms and halibut starters were out of this world. My friend was blown away by the beet pasta, which is seasonal as they only serve the freshest seasonal ingredients (we learned). We also tried the mushroom pasta which was perfectly cooked and hearty. The salmon was so fresh and one of the best I have had in a long time (I love that this dish has fresh beans for even more protein- my friend is a competitive athlete so she LOVED this dish). For dessert, we celebrated with the Flourless chocolate cake (DIVINE!!!!) - not one morsel was left on the plate! We also got a side of vanilla gelato (of course) ! This morning we even texted each out about what a fabulous dining experience it was and that we will be back soon ! Truly, the best restaurant - hands down - in Marin County.”
“A Hidden Gem That Transported Me Straight to Italy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where do I even begin? We came here to celebrate my birthday and left with a new favorite restaurant — the kind of place you want to keep a secret but simply have to tell everyone about. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was pure magic. Their patio seating is absolutely charming — the kind of setting that makes you slow down, breathe in, and just be. We even brought our dog Simba, and without a moment’s hesitation, the team welcomed him warmly and cooked him a chicken breast. That alone tells you everything about the kind of people running this place. We started with house-made limoncello and an Aperol spritz — both perfect — and let the evening unfold. On our server Jennifer’s recommendation, we ordered the crostini, and what a call that was. Creamy stracciatella, roasted zucchini for brightness, and a satisfying crunch that made it borderline impossible to stop eating. Jennifer also brought us a side of Calabrian chiles (a thoughtful off-menu touch), and we ended up adding them to everything — the crostini, the pastas, even tucked into the focaccia. That heat and depth elevated every single bite. Speaking of pasta — all of it is house-made, and you can taste it in every forkful. The ravioli and tagliatelle were silky, perfectly sauced, and genuinely transported me. For a fleeting moment, I forgot I wasn’t sitting in a little trattoria in the Italian countryside. The focaccia alongside it was pillowy and golden, and the olive oil that came with it was so exceptional it actually deserves a mention — which is saying something. The owner came by our table to chat about the fresh ingredients and the origin of the Calabrian chiles, and it was one of those lovely, unhurried moments that reminded me why great restaurants are about so much more than food. He gave the whole evening a warm, personal feel that you just can’t manufacture. Then came dessert — and if you think you’re full, you’re wrong. The strawberry dessert paired with house-made vanilla gelato was delicate, not overly sweet, and absolutely heavenly. The flourless chocolate cake was something else entirely — rich, deeply decadent, and so intensely chocolatey that I genuinely ran out of words mid-bite. And because we were celebrating, they surprised us with a panna cotta that was impossibly light and perfectly set. It was the most gracious, generous finish to an already flawless meal. This restaurant is a gem — a real one. The kind that makes every other Italian restaurant feel like it’s trying too hard. I’m already planning my next celebration here.”
“The food is phenomenal. A very small, intimate place with excellent service. Always very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Family owned and run.”
“Came here because we passed it driving to the movie theater. Had dinner here and the food is outstanding. Menu rotates seasonally so you don’t get the same dish all the time. Ordered the hamachi crudo, fish was fresh and well seasoned. Also ordered the clams for appetizers. The broth is flavorful and paired perfectly with the bread. The Dungeness crab pasta and venison were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Highly recommend this restaurant. Also ordered the strawberry tart with vanilla gelato. Great way to end the meal. Jennifer served us and explained the menu and restaurant since it was our first time. Always looked after us. There is another hostess that came around all the tables to make sure everything was okay. All the servers and staff were polite, quick and attentive. Definitely will be coming back to this place.”
“Wow, we were blown away by this place. It perfectly combines top-notch cuisine, stellar wine selection, and incredible service — all tucked away in a beautifully restored space. The wine selection is one of the best in the Bay Area. Extremely knowledgeable staff mean you can really have a unique and memorable experience. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and elevated. We’ve been there twice now and each experience has been so special. For an all-around incredible dining experience, I cannot recommend this more!”
