“Extremely pleased we decided to try this place for our 25th anniversary weekend. Nate was very attentive, knowledgeable and took his time answering our questions about the sake & menu. We had 2 appts, drinks, 2 entrees, and a dessert- everything was fabulous. Many people go out to have "Good food" but this place takes it up another level. This is one of these restaurants where you want to slow down and savor eat bite as the food here bursts in multi-layer different flavors. Its an art really. For the kind of food you get, price is reasonable too.”

“Went to Bar Ronin was our last stop in Erie. Without any exaggeration, this was the best meal & restaurant experience my wife and I have ever had, full stop. Everything was excellent, from the atmosphere to the food. I would drive the 2.5-ish hours from Pittsburgh just for this place. The crab lo mein & potato mochi were next level and the shrimp teriyaki was so fresh we both said “so this is what fresh shrimp is supposed to taste like”. Even the deserts were incredible. I don’t even like banana but the banana bread tres leches has me rethinking if I actually don’t like bananas or if no other restaurant does them justice. Basically 50/10 just go, be happy, and enjoy the best food you’ve ever had.”

“Hands down the most high quality dining experience I've ever had in Erie! I didn't even realize such a fine dining experience could exist in our area! Me and my girlfriend went here to celebrate our 1 one year anniversary together and it happened to be the establishments 4 year anniversary too! I met with a server/hostess a few days in advance and left her with a pair of sterling silver hook style beach glass earrings I had custom made for her here locally and had her sneak deliver it in with our appetizer on a fancy little food plate to surprise my love with. Our service was exceptional! The atmosphere dining at the kitchen viewing area watching our food made in front of us and everything about the place was top notch and unforgettable! You really must check this place out if you haven't been!”

“The food here was really fresh with a nice profile of flavors per dish! My husband and I sat at the bar area in front of the kitchen where the chefs were cooking. We thought the atmosphere was really nice and it was cool to see a bit of the behind the scenes action as they cooked! Can get real pricey if you want to splurge and enjoy yourself, but the menu itself has a lot of affordable options.”

“Honest Review!!! I usually will never write out a review past this point but man does this place deserve every word in this. Outstanding place to eat. Seeing someone give this 1 star is laughable. You 100% get what you pay for. The portions are great. My wife and I ordered 2 apps 2 entrees and 2 sides. Along with 3 total drinks and the bill was no different than any other restaurant in Erie. The waitress was very informative, knowledgeable, and extremely kind. They were busy but everyone seems excited to be working. We chose to sit at the kitchen bar which was honestly an amazing choice. (Warning: it does get warm) I’ve lived in bigger cities and this definitely gives you big city vibes. The Atmosphere was awesome! We left full, but also knowing we would for sure be back!
