“Absolutely delicious! The Cesar salad was off the charts, and the chicken Milanese was the best I've ever had. Chef's 💋. Our young server exceeded my expectations with her knowledge of the menu - super friendly and attentive, too. Can't wait to go back!”
“First timers to The Belfré, and we enjoyed it very much. Brunch on a Saturday morning was really great for everyone in our party of 5. The entry hall is a bit cramped, but the dining area is more open and very bright. We were given a table upstairs, which is not accessible to those with mobility needs, but it was fine for us. The Mimosa Flight was a nice start, and being able to select 3 flavors is appreciated. Apricot/Blackberry/Cranberry were our choices, and each was well-made. The dishes we ordered (see photos) were plentiful, and the presentation and taste were good. The menu has so much to offer it is actually hard to decide what to order. Our server, Courtney, was great and took exceptional care of us. The restrooms are unisex and on the main floor. The hallway to them is a bit narrow and even has a prep table in it, which may be an issue for a wheelchair user. I'm sure that table can be moved momentarily if requested. All in all, it was a wonderful brunch. The bell pull is near the front door, and if you ask nicely, I'm sure you can ring it to hear the beautiful sound. The organ pipes are upstairs, and it is nice to have some of the original building remaining for a nice ambiance.”
“Beautiful, former church with a fresh menu. We were there on a Wednesday, and they had live music and a little market outside. They were serving food and drinks outside as well. One of the specials was a berry salad with greens and cheese crumbles. Very good, and I will be making it at home. The roasted cauliflower was enough for more than 2 people. Hint, add bacon. It's worth it, and it is more like rendered. salty pork belly cubes, than just bacon crumbles. If you sit upstairs, you will notice the organ pipes from when it used to be a church. An awesome place if you are in the area.”
“I LOVED the old Belfres. Great cocktails, fresh and delicious entrees and wonderful brunch. They are under new ownership and while the service/atmosphere felt familiar, the food was not on par. It was a lot of the same ingredients in a different form. Similar to the owners other restaurants. They should have kept some of the same popular dishes like the feta dip and burger. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be back. Maybe go try brunch but if they go back to the OG Belfre’s staples this place had a chance.”
“The “tapas” concept just doesn’t work for starters. Nothing went right with our experience. The bartender served a warm cocktail. Then the bartender served us the wrong wine. One of our meals was “delivered to the wrong table “ but no one noticed that one of us had no food. It took us pointing out by flagging down our server that we were missing an entree. Then it took 15 minutes to get the missing entree which was a salad. Terrible concept, terrible service, never going back.”
