“My husband and I were in town visiting his sister and her boyfriend. She suggested we have dinner here and for our 2nd time around it was still delicious just like the 1st time. The salsa options full of flavor, their tacos and choice of meats were amazing and flavorble. Also there cocktails were tasty.If you ever come to Arizona and want amazing and delicious Mexican food I suggest you stop by and support her restaurant. If you live locally stop by and grab a bite or a taco. It had a dope and chilling vibe while dining in on the patio. Shout out to Chef Maria and her amazing staff who are super polite and very attentive. You won't be disappointed.”

“YUM! I often am reluctant to believe the high praise of restaurants that are new or appear on TV though Boca is pretty awesome. I'm a 57 and the two dudes I was with were 36 and 70. So a good age range of guys. We ate at Boca on Feb 19, 2026 at about 5:30 pm. It was busy, but not overcrowded and without any wait time yet. We were immediately seated and immediately attended to. The waiter and staff were all exceeding friendly and professional. I ordered the Boca Balls for the table. They were good and different, though there were only five 1" diameter balls for $8.50...I should have ordered two plates. For myself I ordered three different tacos and I wish I kept track of which was which. The first one (upper right) was super yummy and it made the next two taste just yummy. Darn, I wish I knew which one the first one was! My older buddy said his three different tacos were also really good. My younger buddy said his tostada was really good too. I was surprised my bill was cheap at less than $30 after tax and tip (Boca Balls and three tacos). I'll be coming back...with my wife and some other couples! Well done Boca.”

“I ordered the Al Pastor, Taco Dog and Chorizo con Papas tacos. They were good but nothing really special jumped out for me. My wife ordered some much better tacos. She had the Macho, The Dan Gibson and Mole de Pollo. These were MUCH better! The flavor in these tacos were exceptional. The complimentary salsas were good too and did help the basic tacos that I had. They weren't needed in the tacos my wife ordered. Our service was okay but we did have to find the server to get our check. The bathroom lighting was very dim and the floor was all wet when I went in there.”

“We’ve heard about this place for years — since the old Speedway days — and finally stopped by on a Monday night. We were excited to try it, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Service started slow (about eight minutes before drink orders), and we later realized there was only one server covering the entire dining room and patio. He was doing his best, but we didn’t see him again until after we’d finished eating, so we couldn’t even ask for more limes or mention the issues with the food. Drinks looked great but tasted flat — my pineapple-mezcal cocktail needed acidity, and my wife’s Paloma had no fizz. Food came out at a good pace, but the flavors were off. Fish taco had crunch but little seasoning, al pastor was more red sauce than a charred al pastor, and the elote needed salt. My tacos — pork in tomatillo, shrimp, barbacoa, and mole — all had tortillas that fell apart. The mole taco was the best of the bunch. For a bill just over $90, the quality and service didn’t match the price. Beautiful bar glassware, but tacos on a plastic cutting board felt mismatched. The real standout? Chips and salsa — easily the best part of the meal and the only thing we’d return for.”
