“This winery was one of the highlights of our bachelorette trip for my sister. The property is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and a unique atmosphere. They have multiple service lines, which helped keep wait times short even with a busy crowd. There are plenty of seating areas to relax, chat, and enjoy the experience. The drink selection was impressive, and with our large group, I didn't hear a single complaint about anyone's choice. I like that my sister was able to take some beautiful photos by the barrels, which made the visit even more memorable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be visiting again in the future!”
“Gorgeous views, great steak sandwhich with truffle fries. We enjoyed our time here.”
“Beautiful building and pretty good wines. We did the private seated tasting, which was way more comfortable for us introverts. It was also a more personable experience. My partner had reservations about coming here since the previous time (approx. 4 years ago), the wines were not to our liking. Tastes certainly change and these wines were good! The view is spectacular, too!”
“Our love story started here on Old Mission Peninsula in 2020. Little did I know that 5 years later, I would also marry my husband here. Bonobo holds a very special place in our hearts and is one of our favorite vineyards that we visit each time we come to Northern Michigan. We are also wine club members here because their wine is our favorite! We made sure to stop here on my bachelorette party in June. All my bridesmaids understood my love for Bonobo! It only made sense that 2 days before our wedding in August we would host a private family dinner here too in The Library Room. The food and service was incredible - the attention to detail throughout planning the decor, the menu, and the wine selections! Couldn’t have asked for a better night. Then the night before the wedding, my husband and I decided to make one last stop at Bonobo after our rehearsal dinner which was further down the peninsula - our last drink before becoming husband and wife. Our photographer of course came along and got some of my favorite pictures of the whole weekend here! Then on Saturday, our ceremony was at St Joseph Catholic Church (right next door from Bonobo). Many guests had a glass of wine after the ceremony at Bonobo and enjoyed the views of the vineyards and the bay before our cocktail hour + reception at Delamar. Bonobo, you’ll always be a very special place to us. Cheers to our love aging like fine wine!”
“We ordered a couple different flights, however they gave my husband the wrong one. The bubbles were delicious, would get again. The food was also delicious. Gorgeous scenery.”
