“When you first pull up to this amazing hotel, it almost looks like an office building—which can be a little surprising at first. But the moment you arrive, everything changes. You’re immediately greeted by an incredible staff. The valet is attentive, friendly, and respectful...setting the tone right away. From the second you walk through the doors, you’re blown away. The décor is absolutely stunning, and the staff makes you feel taken care of from start to finish. And the restaurant...wow. The chefs, servers, hostesses, and bartenders are all exceptional. This is true five-star, Michelin-level service. You genuinely feel like royalty the entire time you’re there. The food is worth every penny, and each visit has been an amazing experience. This was our second time, and we will definitely be back. Honestly, leaving is the hardest part. I always feel a little sad walking out. The managers, chefs, and staff all make a point to check on you, making you feel like the most important person in the room.”

“I was in Dallas–Fort Worth for a board meeting at our U.S. branch office, not knowing quite what to expect from the hotel we were staying at. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. The Bowie House Hotel, from the outside, could easily be mistaken for an office building. But the moment you step inside, you’re met with an immediate sense of understated elegance—an “estate-like” atmosphere that carries throughout the property. The hotel is unmistakably premium. Perhaps because it’s in Texas, the scale is generous—spacious without ever feeling empty. The design language is what I would call “Texan luxury”: warm, confident, and deeply rooted in a sense of place. What stood out most to me was the artwork displayed throughout the hotel. Nearly every space feels curated, almost gallery-like. I was told that many of the pieces are available for purchase, though I didn’t have the chance to confirm this with staff. The sense of luxury continues seamlessly into the rooms. I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the pool—one of those rooms that makes you wish your stay were much longer (two nights felt far too short). The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom layout—separate spaces for the shower, wash area, and toilet—is something I always appreciate. The rotating armchair and long bench added both comfort and functionality, and the three floor lamps, each with a different design, created a layered, cozy lighting atmosphere that I absolutely loved. In fact, I enjoyed the room so much that I opted for room service on my first evening, simply to stay in and enjoy the space. And then—the steak. When in Texas, you have to order steak, and this was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Perfectly executed: a crisp, almost caramelized exterior with a tender, juicy interior. Truly memorable. The only minor disappointment was the fruit salad—limited variety, both for dinner and again at breakfast the next morning. Perhaps fresh fruit is not Texas’s strongest suit. Overall, the Bowie House Hotel is absolutely a place I would return to, whether for business or leisure. The hotel is part of Auberge Resorts Collection, a brand I wasn’t previously familiar with. It appears to have a significant footprint across the U.S. and beyond. I was particularly intrigued to learn that they are opening a property in Mayfair, London—Cambridge House. I’m very curious to see whether that property will carry the same sense of warmth, character, and understated luxury that made this stay so memorable.”

“We ate at the restaurant but did not stay at the hotel. The environment was upscale yet very friendly and everybody from the valet to the manager was helpful. We had a leisurely evening with drinks and then dinner in the bar area and our waitress was knowledgeable , helpful, and friendly. This is a great place to grab food you don't find everywhere and just to meet friends for cocktails.”

“I stayed at this hotel in November 2025, mainly to visit the 3 amazing museums in Fort Worth, which did not disappoint. This hotel is a welcome 5-star addition to Forth Worth, enabling the visitation of these museums in style. I loved this hotel, with incredible service and awesome artwork throughout the hotel. The bar was also incredible with great food and great drinks, along with good music and Texas cowboy atmosphere. Overall, this was a great experience. The spa with steamroom and sauna is free, i.e. not extra charges, and the fitness room is more than adequate. Minor quibbles are that there is no rowing machine and also no pullup bar, given low ceilings. Also, another minor issue is that the jets were not working in the whirlpool at the pool, which is something that ought to work at a 5-star property! Overall, though, the service was amazing and the rooms were fantastic. I hope very much that this Auberge property survives in the current economic climate, enabling others to enjoy the amazing nearby museums! when I was there, the Caravaggio painting The Cardsharps at the Kimbell Museum was alone worth the trip, but I was also amazingly rewarded with a second Caravaggio on special loan from gallery in Rome, "Judith Beheading Holofernes". Anyway, highly recommend this 5-star property!”
