“We stopped in for a last-minute brunch and enjoyed a wonderful meal on the patio. Their cocktails are fantastic and well priced, the staff was very friendly and kind. We did not have to make any accommodations to our dishes, but I had the vegetarian choice and it was very well done.I appreciate that the salads are well dressed and already tossed before they serve them. We would definitely be going back here again.”
“My favorite place in Sacramento to bring a date I want to impress. Very classy, elegant setup. Friendly, cheerful service. Top notch food and presentation. Also good for, as tonight, treating oneself on a "solo date". I've never left not perfectly happy. Would recommend to anyone and I'll be back!”
“Continuing our series of Happy at Happy Hour! We made a stop at the Cafe last week for a little get together before the Christmas holiday. Chris welcomed us in and was the highlight of our visit. Also of note, of course, was the food! Those fries got a second order and the burger melted in your mouth. The polenta fretes were stupid good. And the salad made us feel healthy. I barely took photos as we were enjoying ourselves so much. Not our first time here and it certainly won't be our last.”
“Dessert Review First, let’s talk about the interior—it felt like stepping into a charming Parisian café. From the rich red velvet curtains to the delicate flowers adorning each table, every detail was thoughtfully done. The ambiance was warm and romantic, made even better by the quiet atmosphere. No crowds, no chaos—just a peaceful, intimate experience. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and seated us in a cozy little nook right by a large window. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the vibe. Honestly, it felt like a hidden gem. Now for the desserts: The Pot de Crème (chocolate) was absolutely divine—smooth, rich, and decadent. A must-try. The Napoleon was just okay—visually beautiful, but it didn’t quite deliver the same wow factor. All in all, it is a lovely spot with ambiance and dessert to match. Highly recommend for a quiet evening or romantic date night.”
“Went for dine downtown. Very nice restaurant. Service was a bit off. Our waiter had to be reminded to serve us. He was more focussed on a bigger table. And they asked us to move mid meal. Nice place. Dinner was tasty. Desert was incredibly small cream puff. Would probably go again.make sure I get a different waiter.”
