Winemaker of the Year, Greg Brewer, focuses on site-expressive wines from the Sta. Rita Hills appellation using Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as voices of place. We have been committed to a finite stretch of land within the Sta. Rita Hills appellation even before we mapped and defined it some twenty years ago. From our first working moments here in the early 1990’s, we have been lured and seduced by this magnificent wine growing area. The pure crystalline sand soils under our feet and the salty air blowing continuously from the rugged nearby sea set an immediate hook from which we could never escape. We are thrilled to host you again at our Los Olivos Tasting Room. If the time you wish to reserve is already booked, please reach out to us to see if we can arrange an alternative outdoor tasting for you and your party. Please note, your booking will be held at our Tasting Room in Los Olivos at 2367 Alamo Pintado Ave, Los Olivos, CA 93441. For private tasting inquiries at our winery in Lompoc, please contact ash.shahparnia@jfwmail.com for further information.
“We had a terrific tasting experience this past Saturday at Brewer-Clifton's tasting room in Los Olivos. The room is cozy and classy. The wines predominantly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) are world-class. Our host was Danica and she was engaging, knowledgeable and a great ambassador for Brewer-Clifton and Santa Barbara wines in general. Go to Brewer-Clifton!”
“Wonderful tasting! We were recommended to come here to Matteis Tavern, and we absolutely loved every wine. Thank you!!!”
“The wines and the service for our tasting far outweighs the ambience. Inside was simple but comfortable. The outside patio was just “ok”. Nonetheless the wines were so lovely we purchased a case to bring home.”
“I was lucky to get a spot here when it was completely empty! (They had just opened) All of the wines we tasted were fantastic. The tasting notes provided by the host were spot on. When you perfect something don't change anything. That is what this place has done. The seating area in the back was very cozy. It provided good shade during the sunny morning, but not so much shade it was hard to see (or cold). The only drawback to this place might be that it is not super accessible for handicap people as the back is gravel and the front is a staircase. That said, they may have other entrances that I did not see.”
“I had a wonderfully tasting experience outside with a group of 4 of us. We were the only ones in the tasting room and felt extremely safe. The wines are outstanding and I am so happy I was able to enjoy the Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and come home with a bottle of the 3D Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine. I highly recommend this tasting room. Excellent service and wines! Cheers!”
