Brooks is the living legacy of Jimi Brooks, a visionary Portland native who came to wine through his passion for history and philosophy. After traveling the world and experiencing the hard work of winemaking in Beaujolais, Jimi returned to Oregon and found a burgeoning wine world. He devoted the rest of his life to holistic farming and winemaking in the Willamette Valley, showcasing the region’s potential for expressive, complex and balanced Riesling and Pinot Noir.

“Brooks was incredible!! We went as a big group on a wine trip. The food was amazing, highly recommend the steak. The olives were so good we took them to go and fought over them later. The wine was delicious with an incredible story. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

“Wonderful winery with breathtaking views of the valley, mountains, and vineyards. The wine tasting was excellent and the wines were delicious. The menu is small, but everything we tried was really good. After purchasing two bottles, we received a complimentary bottle, which was such a nice surprise. We also bought some spices and fresh farm eggs. Very атмосферic and charming place — definitely worth visiting.”

“Kandace was knowledgeable and friendly and it was a great educational experience not just a tasting experience. The pace of pours was perfect. The food was great and nice to have more than charcuterie. Views? Spectacular. I like reisling but left buying more than I thought—they were sublime.”

“Go for the view and the food. The wine is pretty good. I learned that Rieslings are, in fact, not sweet here! I actually bought a bottle. It was crisp. I loved the uniqueness of the white blend too- Amycas.
The views are gorgeous. We went in April 2026, so it was a bit rainy and cold. We still went outside on the deck for a bit.
The food is incredible. Just order it all!”
