The Tacoma tasting room for Browne Family Vineyards is a warm and welcoming space, complete with fireplace, and designed specially to feel like a home away from home for guests and wine club members. Architect Heidi Kihlman at BCRA Design and interior designer Heidi Caillier were commissioned to the design the enticing space, which incorporates nostalgic touches of William Bitner Browne’s, Andrew’s grandfather, house in Springfield, OH.

“Made a reservation for 12:30pm for a party of two. We had the Dottie Flight and Reserve Spirits Flight and the Charcuterie board. Cost about $75 before tip. It was our first tasting experience and we enjoyed it very much. Atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The crackers and cheese board is good but not much for food so make sure your not hungry when you go.”
“Great hole in the wall for an upscale venue/atmosphere without having to leave Tacoma. The red wine flight I picked was drier than my liking which was surprising because for years I bought their cab at Target and even went to their tasting room in Walla Walla. It would have been nice of there were some more economical bites/tapas to choose from (help cleanse the pallet or have a pairing). Green couch needed to be vacuumed.”
“UPDATE: I have been the victim of credit card fraud by this company. They fraudulently enrolled me a wine club to the tune of hundreds of dollars. I NEVER signed up for anything. I never consented. I specifically said no when asked. I reported this last year and it was a mess. Today, over a year later, they have charged me again. Out of the blue. After all of this nightmare from last year. I have never gone back. Ever. I reported this issue at length. I told them in writing I did not want this and had never agreed. And today they charged me $125.58 again. It’s just fraud. A large scale scam potentially affecting hundreds of people. Stay away. It’s a fraud.”
