An institution in Dallas dining for over 40 years, Cafe Pacific embodies sophistication while remaining decidedly unpretentious. Our friendly "neighborhood seafood restaurant" has garnered praise both locally and nationally for its casual elegance. You’ll dine in the warm glow of dark mahogany, rich marble, etched glass and polished brass. The walls are adorned with art from the owner's collection. Proper Dress Required (No T-Shirts, Shorts or Flip Flops.) Cafe Pacific is nestled in Highland Park Village, Dallas' premiere shopping locale, where pampering is the order of the day. From the complimentary valet parking to the outstanding service from our knowledgeable veteran staff, Cafe Pacific offers you sophistication without a hint of snobbery.
“This was my first ever visit to Cafe Pacific. A true Dallas staple having been in business since 1980. In this town, you don’t stay 1/10 that amount of time if you aren’t great. We had the calamari as an app which was solid. I had the blackend Redfish which came with crab meat on top. It was AMAZING! Lobster mac and cheese (equally amazing) and the spinach. I will definitely be back.”
“Vickie was absolutely lovely. She made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Dinner was delicious and we heard about the fabulous brunch on Sundays that we must stop in to check out on the patio. It was our first time but definitely will not be our last! Thank you Drake for the great table service as well!”
“We celebrated a friend's birthday here, and it was divine! I had the prime braised beef short ribs that was cooked to perfection.”
“Beautiful place, the staff were wonderful and prompt. The food was better than most places and not overly priced, although you can expect to spend at least $40 per person. Make sure to make a reservation and dress according to their rules.”
“You’re greeted warmly upon arrival but you can tell the place screams generational wealth. The patrons here are Dallas Proper folks. Meaning they may have been coming to the restaurant, ever since they opened back in the mid 80s. A lot of seniors and you can tell since they have salt and pepper shakers on their tables (usually a sign they cook their food with less seasoning). Our server was genuinely nice and attentive, but don’t be surprised if you’re one of the few younger or more diverse diners in the room. This is a restaurant for Highland Park regulars and if you’re looking for trendiness or bold flavors, this place isn’t it.”
