““I can’t say enough good things about Calliope. From the moment we walked in, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the modern Levantine cuisine was out of this world. Our front-of-house host, Blanca, was absolutely charming—vibrant, friendly, and a joy to talk to. And our server, David, was exceptional—so knowledgeable and, honestly, the nicest waiter I’ve ever had. The food was fantastic, especially the Sofra—an incredible, curated Middle Eastern spread. We also enjoyed two cocktails that were highly recommended—mine was the Halaby, a gin-infused delight, and my wife had the Bustān Al Levant with vodka—both were perfect complements to the meal. With the dinner, they also brought out a Meze platter—a beautiful assortment of small tastes, including hummus, feta, and more, all served with pita. And to top it all off, we finished with the most heavenly dessert—Knafeh, paired with pistachio gelato. I can’t recommend Calliope highly enough—just an unforgettable evening.””

“I am writing this review after coming to this restaurant twice. My husband and I just moved to Chattanooga, and the first time we ate here, we absolutely loved it, and couldn’t wait to come back again. Our server was Ace both times, and we trusted him fully with the food choices, which did not disappoint. He was so kind, helpful, and hospitable. I wrote the names of the meals we ordered in the picture descriptions, but may I just say everything is amazing, especially the Lamb Sofra. “We came here for our anniversary dinner, and we were not disappointed. So glad Chattanooga has this type of cuisine available. We ordered the sofa, which is basically a tasting menu. It came with a large selection of dips and pita, you choose your meat (which chose the lamb shank) which came with collard greens and DELICIOUS, flavorful rice, and completed with a pistachio-topped skillet dessert. We each ordered two cocktails, which were just as delicious as the food. Definitely plan a date night here!”

“I can’t say enough great things about our meal at Calliope! Everything from our first bite of falafel to our final bite of knafeh was truly exceptional. Our wines paired beautifully with the meal, we enjoyed short rib, chicken shawarma, hummus, halloumi & apples, and fresh pita. Our server, Emily, was attentive and kind. She knew everything about the menu, and was able to answer all of our questions. We appreciated her passion and love for her work place! Thank you for our favorite date night of our trip.”
