“One of my favorite restaurants in Saskatoon. Today, my son and I both ordered the Calories Classic Local Bison Smash Burger, with Fries which was absolutely delicious. Do not skip the fries. I added the Calories Dark French Roast Drip which was a very good perk me up drink. We also had the slice of Toffee Cheesecake, pairing well with my coffee, which makes me comeback here everytime. The staff here are super friendly.”

“4.5 overall. Wonderful menu that stands unique from other typical restaurant offerings. I would recommend the halibut dish if it's offered. Tasty, meaty, well balanced in flavours and well presented. Ample amount of seating but gets very busy - reservations recommended. The only thing that didn't hit the spot was the shmoo. I would recommend any of the cheesecakes instead. So many dessert choices make it an even better place to go to.”

“I haven't been to Calories for several years, but it really hasn't changed. The decor is retro, and a bit tired. The service was slow, but pleasant, and they were accurate with our order. I had a smoothie which looked amazing but had very little flavour, and a frittata with veggies and bacon. It was tasty, but heavy handed with the salt. We easily got a table for two on a Saturday at noon, but parking was poor. Broadway Avenue in Saskatoon is always tough for parking. In all, it remains a trendy Saskatoon staple, but I won't rush back.”

“I love going to Calories. It’s a beautiful place to enjoy a good conversation. Sadly, today the staff was unusually cold and inattentive. When my coffee arrived, one of the staff members simply left it on the table without asking if I needed anything. I was left alone the entire time I was at my table and was never asked if I needed anything, despite being the only one there. My baby had a meltdown, and I would have really appreciated it if the waitress had offered help, even just asking if I needed assistance boxing my food. They really need to work on their service. There is one staff member who is always incredibly kind, but unfortunately, she wasn’t there today. I am not coming back in a while after this experience.”

“My husband and I were extremely disappointed at the Valentine’s Day 5 course dinner. We have been to many five course dinners and this was the absolute worst we’ve ever had. The portions were minuscule. Presentation was terrible. The plates were oversized with one tiny thing in the middle and no garnishes. It was meant to be a wine pairing event and the waiter was disengaging, never explained anything to us. Would not recommend.”
