“We celebrated a momentous birthday with a friend. The food was delicious and ambiance very nice. The holiday decorations were there at the beginning of January which made things so festive. Highly recommend!!”
“On our 🍽️ Culinary Travels through Braintree, Massachusetts we decided to go to Campanale's Restaurant for dinner. The Host was Friendly and Inviting sat us down immediately. Our Waitress Debbie was Awesome and Answered any questions we had about the menu. We started out with Cold Drinks 🍹 and Appetizers. 😋For Appetizers we got the 😋Appetizer Special,😋 Fried Calamari,😋 2 Sausage Arancini, Minestrone Soup, 😋Meatballs with Ricotta and Campanale's Garlic Bread 😋 so far everything was Delicious 😋. Entrees ordered 😋2 Lobster Raviolis and the 😋Special Miso Swordfish the entrees were Amazing with Exquisite Flavors 😋. The Service was Excellent 👌. We Highly Recommend Campanale's Restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“We came for a late lunch around 3p.m, so the place was empty, that was okay because I know this place is a staple in Italian cuisine in Braintree. We were greeted by a wonderful host, huge smile and big HELLO! The food was good, all dishes were full of flavor, big portions, well presented and our waitress was very nice. BUT, it was not succulent, delicious and us wanted to come back again. When I go to an Italian restaurant I want fresh, authentic, homemade food. The ravioli’s were good but you could tell they were not homemade. I heard so much about this place and it’s been around forever, so wanted to check it out. I so wanted to love to love the food, but it was just good😳 Will we go back, I don’t know! There is a parking lot on the side street, prices are fair and overall it’s perfectly located and a nice neighborhood restaurant.”
“I arrived around 5:00 pm on a Monday with two of my friends. Surprisingly, there were only two other tables with diners there. I ordered the Seafood Casserole ($30). The dish includes mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. The Seafood Casserole was very tasty. Especially the topping. You’ll notice in the picture the Seafood Casserole is very “flat” . That’s because there were only two “small” shrimp, one scallop and a small amount of white fish underneath. Definitely a meager portion and not worth $30. (I would not recommend it, especially if you’re hungry.) The vegetables were done perfectly and the mashed potatoes were very tasty. The service was good. However, the server did not ask if we wanted a warm up of our coffee. Nor did she come by again to top off our water. Lastly, don’t forget to pay with cash. Otherwise, there is an additional charge of 3.99% added to your bill to use your credit card. So, the total cost for my entree, one glass of wine and one cup of coffee was $60 (20% tip included).”
“May 2024 - lunch Atmosphere- we got there around 1:30pm. We were their first customers of the day, to my surprise being that they open at 11:30am. Seems the restaurant is not quite visited much or at least on this day it wasn't. We picked a table by the window which was nice. By the time we left, only two other tables were taken with parties of two. We basically had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Service- The service was ok. Started off strong at first but once meals came out the service went a little down as we weren't checked on much for drinks, etc. However not bad overall, just not great either. Food- we.got the seafood fra diavolo, lobster bake, seafood risotto. We thought the food was just ok as we had better elsewhere. Cocktails- we enjoyed the Cocktails. They tasted good but presentation wasn't the greatest. They came out in glasses you get served water or soda in, not Cocktails. Overall we had a nice time but it is a place we probably won't visit again. High expectations that didn't deliver.”
