Chief O'Neill's Pub & Restaurant

“Chief O'Neill's is not only a wonderful restaurant but also an incredible venue to get married at :) I could probably write a novel about the wonderful experience we received but I'll try to summarize it in the best way I can. From the get go, Etain (event manager) made us feel valued, comfortable and provided great communication throughout the entire wedding process. She was a 'yes' girl when it came to any wedding question we asked for planning and executed our dreams better than imagined. On the day of our wedding, we had an intimate ceremony in the back patio space. The fireplace was lit and staff was attentive to our guests needs. It was cozy and beautiful. We had a larger wedding reception party inside/outside and our family & friends had an amazing time!! So many raved about the food and the quality of service they received throughout the entire event. “Had a great experience visiting Chief O’Neils this weekend! Our server Alyssa was incredible and sold us on the steak crustiness. We are so glad we got them and definitely something we will some back to eat again. Both the chicken pot pie and corn beef sandwich were a hit. The decor for the holiday is the cherry on top! We will definitely be back.”

“We reserved a table for two for an early Christmas Eve dinner, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made the evening feel extra special. We were quickly greeted by our server, Ashley, who was super attentive. She put in our drink order right away and brought out their complimentary soda bread, which was a great touch. We ordered the Shepherd’s pie and a wedge salad with chicken, everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were quite large. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy their patio.”

“The food here was amazing. I never had soda bread before but it was delicious. Let me tell you the butter idk what type of butter that is but I wanted to get a spoon and just eat it straight lol. I ordered the shepherds pie, it was the most lite and delicious Shepard pie I’ve ever had. It just makes love to your taste buds. The chili is also really delicious. The kitchen staff you can tell they take pride in their work. Now to the service, the hostess was very nice she greeted us with a smile. Our server on the other hand was the let down. How can the food, atmosphere, hostess and food runners be so amazing but the server is the let down. Other than the server let’s focus on how amazing everything else was, thank you for the awesome food. Oh one last thing the drinks were 🔥. I had the red haired lass omg that was good.”

“Walked in to a wonderful, over the top Christmas display. This was the first visit for our group of five and everyone commented that it was their favorite meal of our trip to Chicago. We ordered fish and chips, the oysters, bangers and mash, the grilled chicken sandwich, and the Castleisland Baked Onion Soup. Everything was 10/10. Restroom was clean and well-maintained. It had an authentic Irish pub feel to it. To top it off, our server Jennifer was the best!”
