“We had a beautiful birthday meal for my sister. The food was delicious and service fantastic.”
“I love this restaurant. The wait staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The seafood is fresh daily. One of had the fish and chips. The fresh was crispy let not greasy. One of us had the blackened Sword Fish, with smashed sweet potatoes. It was my daughter's first time eating Swordfish. She wasn't going to order it, she normally gets the blackened Salmon. The waiter Sean did a great job explaining the taste and textured. She order it and absolutely loved it. She isn't much on sweet potatoes, but really enjoyed eating that combination together. I had the house dinner specials which included a lobster tail grilled scallops and grilled shrimp. Asparagus and mashed potatoes with lemon onion. The lobster was excellent. The shrimp and scallops with the seasoning they used while grilling were how would one say. TO DIE FOR. Best grilled scallops and shrimp combination I've ever eaten. The atmosphere was terrific. Great place for friends to dine together. Would make a wonderful impression for a first date. The pricing I believe was very reasonable. Most dinners with a coffee or soda will be $30-40. Combined the atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and amazing food its woth every penny. I have been here twice in the last 4-6 weeks If you like fresh seafood this is a must visit.”
“Coming from New England, I have a high standard for seafood and this place delivered. Good bread service with warm rolls and butter. The mussels were good but would have liked some butter to dip them with. Seafood tower was great aside from the crab Louie which we weren’t a big fan of. Just go straight for the oysters and shrimp if you decide to. All entrees were great: Walleye, Stuffed Lobster, Lobster Tails, and Crab Cakes. Would come back again. Our server was great too, thanks Scout!!!”
“Unfortunately this one was a huge letdown. We came in on a busy night which as expected impacted the service experience but at this price point it should have been better. Our waiter was friendly enough but obviously overworked. One app came fairly quickly and was finished by my date 15 mins before mine arrived. Which was soup, obviously something already prepared the clam chowder was delicious though. Not egregious but telling. Too be fair my entree was not seafood however , I was advised it was a great option , my date had the surf and turf special. While service was slower than hoped for the food did make it to the table and it was immediately obvious it has been sitting under a heat lamp. The beef medallions were dry, over cooke and lacked any seasoning, it cried out for salt even a pinch of flaked finishing salt could have helped. the crab cakes were dense dry and barely warm . The chicken piccata was rough. The plate it self was dirty , not a single person in expo checked it as it had an interesting color stain that didn’t match my dish. The chicken was sliced so thin and then charred that it was essentially jerky. Again no seasoning. Flakes of burnt not charred chicken were set to the wayside. While the fish proteins looked fresh , the poultry wreaked of Gordon’s food or Cisco brands food delivery. Similar to the fries , frozen and bagged. While. or the most expensive restaurant in Ann Arbor this was a special night type place. Unfortunately there was really nothing special here to report. can’t recommend.”
