“Got the Lobster roll and it was so light and buttery”
“Had an awesome lunch yesterday before my trip back to Chicago. The tuna was super fresh, the shrimp dish had a nice kick to it and my soup was full of flavor and fresh veggies. Great customer service looking forward to visiting again.”
“Very nice dining establishment that sits on the river across Am Fam Amphitheater on Summerfest grounds. Very popularv place on the weekends, often with locals performing live music. The new dinner menu is great, and you can't seem to go wrong with whatever combo you choose for the three course dinner. My buddy and I both had the excellent New England Clam Chowder. Plate two, I had the Seared Tuna Tower, and he, the Maryland Crab Cakes. Both were very good. For our final dish, he had the Lobster Ravioli and I, the Lemon Pepper Seared Mahi Mahi. The Old Bay seasoning on the fries are a treat. I probably enjoyed one too many Eagle Park drafts, which was like drinking a combo of the old Hi-C Ekto-Cooler, Mello Yellow, and a splash of beer. It was refreshing and got me drinky before I knew it. We capped off the night with a couple of cans of Old Milwaukee. Everyone there was friendly and jovial.”
“Management needs to hire more people. There were only two servers during lunch hours and it took a very long time to get our drinks and then even longer for our meals (about an hour or more when not many people were there) . I ordered fish and chips and it was mostly breading, second bite in the fish literally fell out of its dry bread socket 🫠 Had to ask to take it off the receipt and I have never returned a plate or asked for it to be taken off the bill I swear I’m not like that 😅 Shrimp tacos had 2 and a half shrimp on it and was not flavorful. My diet coke tasted kinda sad too. I’m not a review writer this place was just so disappointing it’s almost dinner time now & I keep thinking about how dry my fish was. I was so ready for so greasy tasty food by the water but this was not it. Maybe I was hangry and more critical since the food took so long but no I don’t think so that was so sad. Our server was very nice and apologetic I appreciate her.”
“Place is cool, but a burger cost $15 (this is the low end of the menu). This would be fine if fries weren't an upcharge of $4. This would also be fine if it wasn't a Sysco burger (the hockey puck round is a dead giveaway). French onion burger was as dry as can be, one of the few times I think I could do better at home with mininal effort. Their business is being by the lake and having an atmosphere, but unless you want to spend $40 between an app, 1 drink and a cheaper menu item, look elsewhere. This is for the vibe, not the food imo. There are better options that charge based upon the meal quality, not the location”
