“Fisherman’s View ★★★★☆ A Fantastic Seafood Treat with Amazing Service! We had a wonderful meal at Fisherman’s View! The service was incredibly welcoming and happy—our server Lauren was amazing, and Addy B was great too. The hospitality really elevated the entire experience. Here is the breakdown of what we tried: The Drinks Peach Summer Old Fashioned: Absolutely delicious! A perfect seasonal twist. Lemon Drop Martini: Very good and well-balanced. Boozy Affogato: Delicious! It was the perfect, indulgent way to end the meal. The Raw Bucket & Seafood Shrimp: Large and perfectly cooked. The cocktail sauce was a highlight because it had a generous, flavorful amount of horseradish. Jonah Crabs Claws: Incredibly sweet and delicious. The dipping sauce had a little kick of spice that paired perfectly. Oysters: Very fresh and good. The Mains Lobster Roll: Very good! It had the perfect amount of sauce, a nice savory saltiness, and was served on a beautifully buttery, delicious brioche bun. Portobello Mushroom Burger: Incredibly juicy and tasty. The focaccia bun was soft and full of flavor. Scallop Tacos: Good, but the blue corn tortillas were a little too overpowering for the delicate flavor of the scallops.”
“Our experience was lovely from start to finish. The lobster roll, clam chowder, and crab cake were without a doubt the highlight of the meal — honestly the best we’ve ever had. Over the past few years, we’ve been searching all across the Northeast coast for the best lobster and clam chowder, and this place truly won our hearts. Not to mention, the freshness of the food makes it incomparable and such a unique experience. I deal with food intolerances, and for the first time in a long while, I didn’t have any reaction after eating. For that alone, I’m incredibly grateful — and we will definitely be coming back again.”
“Stopped by Fisherman's View on the way home from a cape visit for lunch as it was recommended to us. The restaurant was full, and there was a wait for tables. Thankfully able to find open seats at the bar. We got french onion dip for an appetizer. Which is accompanied by chips and bread. It was delicious. As for lunch we had a burger and fish sandwich. The burger was cooked a perfect medium and the fish was fresh, crispy and flaky. The bartenders were quick, attentive and friendly.”
“I’m not sure this restaurant even needs another glowing review—but it’s absolutely everything people say it is. Fisherman's View delivers on every level. The location alone is stunning—so much so you might think it could carry the experience. It doesn’t have to. The food more than holds its own. The atmosphere strikes a rare balance: fun and a little funky, yet still polished enough to feel special. You can show up casual or dress it up, and either way, it works. Service was exceptional. Bethany M., our server, was attentive in that effortless way—meticulous, genuinely kind, and somehow always a step ahead of what we needed before we even asked. As for the food: truly outstanding. The grilled calamari were perfectly done—tender with just the right char. The kung pao fish bites were packed with flavor and practically melted in your mouth. We also had a dragon roll, a Cape Cod Rachel sandwich, and a light, fresh salad on the side—each dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully executed. The wine list is extensive, but what stood out just as much was the inclusion of solid non-alcoholic options—always appreciated and not always a given. Not to be missed. Even on a rainy day, the atmosphere is something special—and maybe even better.”
“We stopped in to buy fresh tuna steaks for dinner and clam chowder to go. The Seafood Market looked great and loved all of the choices. That night, we seared the tuna and served it with a wasabi cream sauce my wife made - delicious! The chowder was just too thick for our liking - when the spoon stands straight up there is too much flour or too thick with potatoes. The prices were pretty good, as I expected them to be higher. We checked out the restaurant, which looked very nice. Very few open tables on a Friday Lunch crowd in late March; the Sun was out but a brisk chilly wind was blowing. I can imagine the patio/terrace tables full of happy patrons in the Summer months through early Fall. Lots to watch with boat traffic on the canal and migrating birds were the feature today [& this week per Facebook!] - with everyone hoping to spot the colorful King Eider!”
