“If you're the kind of person who judges a barbecue restaurant by how often the server has to refill your sweet tea or water glass, this place is off to a strong start. I don't think my glass ever made it below the halfway mark before it magically reappeared full again. Here's looking at you, Pam. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between casual and comfortable. It's equally suited for a date night, catching up with friends, or having a business conversation over smoked meat and good company. Not every barbecue joint pulls that off. As for the food, do yourself a favor and order the brisket. Specifically, skip the lean and go for the flavorful cuts. Life is too short to voluntarily remove the best part of barbecue. The brisket was tender, smoky, and packed with the kind of flavor that makes conversation pause for a moment while everyone focuses on the important business at hand: eating. And then there's the key lime pie. By the time it arrived, I was already happy with my meal, but the pie managed to be the perfect finale. Bright, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet, it was the proverbial cherry on top... even though, thankfully, nobody actually put a cherry on key lime pie. Great food, great service, and an atmosphere that works for almost any occasion. I'll definitely be back.”
“This gives you the feel of a very high end BBQ place, professional but relaxed setting. Ideal for business or pleasure. Service is phenomenal and food is over the top. Had the pork belly for starters. Cooked beautifully, intense flavor, and perfect portion size. Main course was Smoked Prime Rib. Plating was eye catching and appeasing. Smokiness was on point and cooked to perfection. Overall, incredible experience. Highly recommend!”
“Stopped here for lunch and was very pleased with the food and service. We ordered the pulled pork and also ribs which were both excellent. Side order of burnt ends were amazing! Our waitress was very quick to check on us and refill our drinks. Would definitely come here again.”
“Wanted some BBQ so I stopped and tried this place. Atmosphere was great and service was good. I sat at the bar and asked to have them turn on a game on one of the 4 tvs, but they never did. Only had them on with no sports of shows on just still pictures. I ordered the burnt ends and the combo for one. The burnt ends were smothered in bbq sauce, which wasn’t the best. A little too much vinegar for my taste. The combo had ribs which were ok, pulled pork which didn’t taste the best little to much smoke like it was liquid smoked. The sausage was ok, came a little burnt. Wish they had different choices of bbq sauces to choose from. I guess I am use to Texas bbq and this just doesn’t compare.”
“Overall not bad, but just doesn’t top my list. Not suggesting you don’t give it a try but I think it’s pricey for what you get. Parking can be a challenge because it’s mostly paid street parking and can be hard to find a spot. Staff are friendly, and the inside is quite nice. I got a pork belly sandwich, which was very flavorful and filling, and salad, although they got my salad wrong. My wife had the chicken and waffle, which I found lacking flavor. So hit or miss with orders. While not a bad experience, I expected more. For parking, you’ll have to find paid street parking. Thankfully I live close enough to walk to the restaurant. Our initial experience was good but after getting our food we were sort of forgotten. For the price I expected better service and more attention. The setting is pleasant and relaxing. As to the food, flavors were fine. Not great but fine. I had the ribeye but parts of it were tough and grisly so unexpected for the price. My wife had the smoked ribs, which were better.”
