The Salt Creek Steakhouse is located in the heart of the Breckenridge historic district. Since 1997 we have consistently set the standard for great steaks, mouth watering BBQ (cooked slow and low), fresh fish, poultry and vegetarian fare. Our restaurant is one of the few quality establishments in town capable of catering in house to large groups and special events. Our extensive, yet reasonably priced, wine list has garnered the Wine Spectator award of excellence every year since 1998. For the finest food, superb service set in an authentic old western style ambiance the Salt Creek Steakhouse is your Breckenridge destination. We have a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 15 minutes after your reservation time. We may contact you about this reservation, so please ensure your email and phone number are up to date. Your table will be reserved for 1:45 hours for parties of up to 4; and 2 hours for parties of 5+.
“Salt Creek was by far the best restaurant we have been to in Breck and the surrounding area. We’re from New York and I like to think we know good restaurants. I won’t say we have incredibly high standards by any means but this place absolutely hit the mark in all aspects. Molly our server was phenomenal. Attentive, funny and very very helpful. Our meals were spectacular. Like I said. Best food within 20 miles that we had in the 5 days here. The steak special was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The salad was fresh and crisp and the dessert was absolutely delicious. Could not have asked for more. Highly highly recommend!”
“We had an excellent experience here. I’m usually hesitant to order steak in smaller towns, but the filet mignon was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The salad was fresh and crisp, which was a great start, and honestly every dish we had was incredible. On top of that, the service was the best we experienced during our entire three day stay in Breckenridge. Attentive, friendly, and spot on without being overbearing. I’m genuinely surprised this place doesn’t have a higher rating. They truly deserve it and we would not hesitate to come back. 👍”
“Loved this place. Went here on Christmas Eve and had the best meal ever and best service ever! Went for the Wagyu steak and lobster special and it was absolutely amazing! We got the opera cake, white chocolate creme brûlée and the bread pudding for dessert. My favorite was the opera cake!”
“Dinner was incredible!! Huge compliments to the chef! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the food came out hot and fresh! The atmosphere is normally amazing but there was a pretty big party in there that was incredibly loud and obnoxious. When you are spending that much money, you would like to be able to enjoy your food. Service was good but a little slow. It was a new person so understandable.”
“had high hopes. 1st cool place, 2nd ribeye undercooked, recooked but both my friend and i had very fatty pieces, not marbled. service was lacking. waiter nice person, but no check up on us, waited for water refill and place half full. french onion was in a tiny cup. for the same money the soup at Briar Rose much better and not so salty. the ribeye, no comparison, Briar is the bomb!!!!”
