“Tiger Sun is one of the hottest cocktail omakase spots in Atlanta right now, hidden behind Muchacho in Reynoldstown inside a retro tour bus. The whole concept feels like a mix of speakeasy, movie-themed cocktails, pairing menus, and small bites wrapped into an immersive experience. This time, the theme was Italian mafia movies. The entire space was filled with pink neon lighting, and walking in honestly felt like stepping into some underground supper club. The experience starts with bread, olives, mozzarella, and a welcome drink, then the staff walks everyone through each cocktail and dish throughout the night. Personally, I liked the pink Tommy Devito menu more. The first mezcal + pistachio cocktail left the biggest impression on me. The smoky mezcal, nutty pistachio, and tropical fruit flavors blended together really smoothly without any single flavor overpowering the others. The arancini was also surprisingly good. Crispy on the outside, with rich cheesy filling inside and a slight fermented funkiness to it. The lobster tortelloni was probably one of my favorite dishes of the night. Creamy sauce, rich lobster flavor, very comforting overall. The dessert cocktail at the end was also pretty interesting — espresso, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream together almost felt like an Espresso Martini mixed with affogato. The Henry Hill menu leaned more traditional Italian-American in comparison. But for my personal taste, I definitely preferred the Tommy menu since the flavor profiles felt more modern and playful. Overall, it didn’t feel like a super formal fine dining spot. It felt more like a themed cocktail pairing experience with a storyline behind it. Definitely the kind of place that’s fun to go with friends, take your time, have drinks, and just enjoy the atmosphere. @itsphilip.io”
“This was a wonderful way to end a spectacular 45th birthday. I had looked at this restaurant saved from TikTok in February around my husband's birthday and they were booked solid. I was super happy I got two seats for the 8th to experience the Goodfellas immersive dinner experience for my husband and I. The menu is set as Tommy and Harry and they tell you to pick a character however it's hard to stay that way as the drinks and food comes out you cross the 4th wall (ifykyk). This is a 4 course tapas style mean (8 food items with a couple) and matching drinks (8 cocktails with a couple). As the designated driver is licked but did not consume but my husband drank damn near all of them and he enjoyed it. The service immerses you into the movie with small props and trinkets the jersey/think Italian mob accents and even quotes from the movie. Just mondblowingly so amazing and woth every penny. This dining experience with an extra cocktail was 270 with included gratuity. Well well worth it because the drinks were not served in solo cups and wete full size with beautiful garnishes. We plan to make this our spot as they change movies.”
“Great experience for their Goodfellas theme. The food and cocktails were on point for each course. The service from the entire staff was phenomenal. My favorites were the tuna tonnato, lobster tortellini, and tiramisu. My friend enjoyed all her courses as well. All of the cocktails were amazing and so unique. The standouts were the funny how, cutty water, and no more shines. We can’t wait to be back for their next theme.”
“Tiger Sun gives that perfect balance of casual luxury, surprise and masterful mixology. From the moment you enter, you feel the thought, commitment and intentionality put into the curated experience. The staff were seamlessly accommodating as they guided us through the gastronomical story-telling. We laughed, we ate, we drannnk. 🤣 Food and cocktail pairings were beautifully done. Each course hit with curiosity and craftsmanship— baby that lobster tortellini slayed me in the most satisfying way! 😛 I’ve gone a few times( GoodFellas theme ) and I’m looking forward to the next season at Tiger Sun. I won’t give too much away cause the most important rule of night was “to not snitch on the family” so if you’re open, chill and don’t mind intimacy with strangers, ( I’m talking about the seating, not your extracurricular after-hour activities ), then book your reservation now. Best experienced in groups of 2 or 4. Also if you wear heavy colognes or perfumes, go lighter on the night you attend. Your scents can impact the way the food and beverages are experienced since the space is snug. ( Another guest smelled like a church lady on Easter. Thankfully it was a cheap toilette and dissipated shortly after course 2. ) 💅”
“I took my partner here for her birthday and the experience far exceeded any expectations I had, which were already high. Enough can't be said about how amazingnand creative it was. The staff was friendly and fun and attentive. The food was outstanding. The drinks were complex and delicious. The atmosphere was everything. 100/10. In short, it was a very unique experience with great food, drinks, and awesome staff.”
