“Food, service, drinks, vibe. All 10 out of 10! I didn't take any photos other than the obligatory BEEF TALLOW CANDLE because I was too in the moment and enjoying my meal. My old fashioned came with a cherry on a toothpick with a feather attached that was absolutely delightful. Every course was excellent, and food was portioned in a manner that supported a family style meal which we love. Can't recommend enough.”

“Ovenbird makes you forgive Birmingham for the drive. Bib Gourmand, Spanish-Argentine soul, back patio under enough vines to make you whisper for no reason. Shaved Brussels with jamón and cara cara — sleeper hit. Empanadas blistered and bronzed. Beef fat candle: tear, dip, reconsider your life choices. Roasted chicken with sweet plantains went down in reverent silence — the highest Southern compliment. Gulf fish in herb oil, clean and confident, no notes. Tempranillo did real work alongside the chicken. Chef stopped by, service warm without hovering. Flash this review at the host stand and I’m betting you’ll get an extra smile and a little extra Southern hospitality — that’s just how this place runs. “What an awesome spot! Visually, this place is incredibly appealing! The outdoor seating is perfectly laid out and spacious. We came in from Mississippi for a visit and stumbled upon this gem! Easily one of our all time favorite restaurants now! We love the idea of small plates and ordering multiple things. The burrata was NEXT LEVEL! I could have just ordered 3 of those and been happy. You’ve got to get that and the flank steak, trust me! We will be back! Thanks for a great Friday night!!”
