“Incredible food! I placed a takeout order online and was impressed with the speed of the service. They even called to make sure i got what I ordered. Best asparagus I've ever had, and it's a favorite for me! The homemade pasta was out of this world, as well! One small suggestion, curbside pickup would be great, I felt a little goofy walking in in yoga pants and a t shirt, hair a mess from whale watching, walking into a very fancy place, I couldn't scoot out of there quickly enough 😂”

“This was an exceptionally good meal featuring authentic Italian cuisine served to us by a native Italian waiter. The caprese salad was served in a patty shell. Bother the clams and veal were exceptionally tender. The wine list offered a few gems for those of you who enjoy that sort of thing. Highly recommend; we will definitely go back the next time we are in town.”

“A true Italian experience nestled in the heart of Boothbay Harbor. The evening started out with a couple of cocktails at the bar, served by Kathleen. Her attention to detail and friendliness started the experience on the right foot. Ricardo was our server for dinner service and he gave us beautiful descriptions of the evenings specials and any questions we had with th menu. Service was consistent throughout the whole night, which made the food that much more enjoyable. I have now visited the Boothbay Harbor area five times in five years and each time I make Ports of Italy a stop for dinner. You will not be disappointed! The restaurant also has dedicated parking in the back for customers, which is a plus in this town of limited parking near its restaurants.”

“Ports of Italy delivered the best Italian meal we’ve had in years. The pasta is homemade and absolutely exceptional. We loved the lobster in vodka sauce and the ravioli stuffed with veal, mortadella, and pork, all topped with a rich cream truffle sauce—chef’s kiss. Even the Caesar salad was outstanding. The staff was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. While it’s not inexpensive, the quality, portions, and authentic flavors make it worth every penny. This is real Italian food, and we can’t wait to return.”

“Quick, delicious meal for my husband and I. We had the lobster special with vodka sauce, cherry tomatoes over fresh pasta. My husband is gluten free and this was easily accommodated! The lobster was a little tougher than I would have preferred but otherwise excellent meal, great atmosphere. Excellent service”
