“Easily the best pizza I’ve ever had!! We loved this place so much we went there two days in a row lol. The first time we had reservations and the second time we ordered to go and it was just as good. Drinks were tasty & strong. Super nice staff.”
“We had the pleasure of sitting waterfront on the patio here, and it was absolutely amazing. The service was quick and friendly, and they were great about refilling our waters, which we really appreciated after a long day of walking around. They also had a unique non-alcoholic beer that we enjoyed, along with a couple of cocktails. The thin-crust pizza tasted like it came straight from Italy. The whole place was lively and had a cinematic feel, almost like being in a movie. An amazing experience overall—would definitely recommend.”
“We had been dying to try this restaurant for months and it did not disappoint! We had the pepperoni pizza with hot honey, garlic bread, Parmesan fries, and the Portofino Purse drink! All of our selections tasted amazing and were reasonably priced. This is definitely a must if you are out in Chicago. Our server was so sweet and attentive which made our experience even better.”
“We were finally able to get a reservation. It occurred on a mid afternoon Friday. Place was packed, energy was high. Hostess was friendly, but our server was fantastic. Very friendly, gave us attention even though she was really busy. We absolutely loved the fries. My wife says they were the best fries ever. Plenty of fries for up to 4 people. It was only wife and I so we had leftovers. The pepperoni pizza was... Good. Barely any cheese, crust very thin. Don't get me wrong... It was good, nothing bad, just okay and maybe a bit overhyped. Regardless, would we go again... Yes. Mostly because of the vibes in the place and great service.”
“The inside was well-decorated like beach style since I can tell by the plant decor, the chairs, and the yellow and white colors on fixtures. The restaurant offers great views of the riverfront. The food was expensive for the portion size since I can tell they used fake and pre-grated parmesan instead of the real deal based on how it looks. The cacio e pepe was okay since the pasta's texture was good, the flavor fell a little bit flat. The beef meatballs in tomato sauce was delicious though since it gave the right balance of meat and breadcrumbs. Despite getting food relatively fast after ordering and the server was friendly, I would not go out of my way to come back when I'm in Chicago again.”
