“If you’re looking for a cute neighborhood spot that feels like a genuine local find, Fresca Pizzeria & Wine Bar is a charming choice for a relaxed evening. It has that effortless neighborhood vibe where the atmosphere is just as inviting as the menu. The food is built for lingering over, and there are a few non-negotiables here: • The Butcher’s Platter: If you’ve managed to corral a large enough group, you absolutely have to go for the "Chef’s Kiss" on the Butcher’s Platter. It’s a crowd-pleaser that justifies the table space. • The Arancini: Regardless of your group size—even if it’s just you and a glass of wine—grab the arancini. They are consistently delicious and the perfect way to start. • The Main Event: The Margherita wood-fire pizza was very good, sporting that perfect char you only get from a proper oven. It’s ideally sized for two people, though you could probably stretch it to three if you’ve already gone heavy on the earlier courses.”

“I had such a lovely experience at Frasca that I’m already plotting my return. This spot nails that cozy yet vibrant neighborhood feel, with a warm and inviting dining room and a patio that’s perfect for those rare Chicago days when the weather actually cooperates. Now the food! The arancini? Incredible. Crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside…….honestly, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. They clearly take pride in what’s coming out of that kitchen. I also tried a new wine from their extensive wine list, and the server was super knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me to something I hadn’t had before, but ended up loving. Whether you’re into wine by the glass or bottle, or even beer and cocktails, there’s something for everyone here. The vibe at Frasca is relaxed but elevated and it’s perfect for a date night, girls’ night, or just treating yourself to some solid Italian comfort food. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu! If you’re looking for a spot that feels like a neighborhood gem but delivers like a destination restaurant, Frasca is it. Highly recommend.”

“The brussels sprouts and cauliflower appetizers were so delicious and came in big portions. Most of the dishes here are large enough to share with another person! We came for Mother's Day with a reservation, and it was pretty busy. They also have outdoor seating available. The service was nice and attentive, checking on us frequently throughout the meal. It's a great place to try something new, and I thought it was such a sweet touch that they gave my aunt a free tulip for Mother’s Day.”
