“Absolutely terrific deep dish pizza. Danny’s Special!! Full of everything you want on a pizza. How they get the crust so crispy? I’ll never know but it’s amazing! Also had the classic MARGHERITA…chewy artisan crust! Fried mozzarella was a perfect starter. Great service. No wait for a table. We left with full bellies!”
“Wow … we were looking to try Chicago deep dish and tavern pies. And this place was the spot to try them. We did the thin pie with sausage and deep dish with burrata. The deep dish is a pan style - not stuffed. Absolutely amazing. Had enough to bring home in the flight and it was just as good reheated.”
“Food was great! I'm not a big beef eater, I usually don't eat double burgers, but this one right here was delicious!!! The meat was cooked to perfection, juicy, moist, bun was soft, flavor was fresh really good, perfectly seasoned, the veggies were fresh. And the manager was a delight! Very positive friendly attitude.”
“It was a busy Saturday night. We waiting about 20 minutes for our table. We ordered the Rigatoni allá vodka and when we received our meal it was shells. I wasn’t sure if that was the correct dish, as the waiters seemed to be delivering the wrong items to 2 separate tables. Our waiters said it was correct and I said that it was shells and not rigatoni and he said oh yeah someone else said the same thing and kept walking! Fine, the sauce was really really flavorful! We enjoyed it very much and probably would come back for the pasta. Had read good reviews about their pizza and we ordered the Margherita Artisan pizza. The sauce was a bit sweet and we prefer savory. It just tasted like sweet tomato paste. Kind of burnt sauce. Not much flavor but the sweetness is what stuck out to both of us. Not our style of sauce but others probably enjoy this sweet yet acidic sauce. The drinks were ok, should have just ordered a beer. Not sure I’d be back, but glad I finally got to try it after so many years!”
“We ordered the grilled calamari as a starter and the Prawn Alfredo Pasta for the main course, and both dishes were outstanding. The Prawn Alfredo Pasta was incredibly delicious—rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked. The grilled calamari had a wonderful tangy flavor with what seemed like a hint of jalapeño sauce, adding a subtle kick without overpowering the dish. The tangy and slightly spicy notes complemented both the calamari and the pasta beautifully, making for a well-balanced and memorable meal. Highly recommended!”
