“Went to a show which I believe has a different menu? Food arrived very quickly which I appreciated as I wanted to finish my meal before the show started. I had chicken tacos, my husband had a smash burger. My tacos were very good, just the right amount of heat. My husband said his burger was very good as well. I had a Caesar salad with my tacos which was excellent. I snuck a fry from my husband; they were fresh and not greasy. They did not have Sangiovese wine which was surprising and disappointing. Their expresso machine was broken so no cappuccino :(. Coffee cup was small. The pistachio tiramasu was excellent! Big enough and rich enough to share. The only thing was that the chairs were NOT comfortable, especially for a full length show. There are seat pads so it would seem they're aware of and have tried to address the issue, but the pads are thin and truly useless. Overall, a great venue for an intimate show.”
“As a good time inside City Winery. Great artist lineups with great food. Charcuterie board was delicious. Tonight was Howard Hewett. Old school R&B show that was excellent. Still sounds good and it was an awesome night. Great place for date-nights. Its called City Winery but they do have a full bar available. 5 🌟”
“City Winery shows are always an intimate experience. I came for the Nicotine Dolls show on February 11th and it was an entertaining night of music. The audience really enjoyed the performance and the space was well laid out with great sightlines. The Nicotine Dolls Cabernet Sauvignon was a nice touch and a fun souvenir.”
“City Winery Boston absolutely deserves 5 stars. From the moment I walked in, I was thoroughly impressed by how welcoming, polished, and well-run the entire venue was. Special thanks to Kelsey Anderson who delivered world class service and was on top of every detail for our Wedding industry Event Master Class on January 6th, 2026 The space was spotless and beautifully maintained, the waitstaff was extremely personable and friendly, and the management team was attentive, proactive, and as previously stated, on top of every detail throughout the event. The food far exceeded expectations—what we anticipated would be “very good” turned out to be truly exquisite. City Winery Boston also offers a wide range of event spaces, from an intimate downstairs meeting room for about 20 guests to mid-size rooms for around 100 and an impressive concert hall for large-scale events. If you are planning any type of event in Boston, this venue is highly recommended—you will almost certainly leave just as impressed as we were. All around, a solid 5-star experience. Our team at Party Time Events Group will be back!”
“Went to see Isaac Slade (formerly of The Fray) live at City Winery. Traveled 5 hours from out of town. Staff was great greeting us and getting us food/wine before the show started, and that continued throughout the show. Which was not ideal lol. I worked a bar for several years, and when we had shows/performances, we’d at least make an effort not to interrupt the paying audience. I know it’s hard, and business must go on, but the noise-level coming from the bar completely interrupted the show several times. And the staff talking/laughing/making noise didn’t seem to phase anyone behind the bar. Not only that, but the waiter, who was friendly and all, came up to my table mid-performance, interrupted the song and asked if we could settle our bills before last call. Just very frustrating to deal with when you pay for a show you’ve been waiting for for a while! Despite this, really cool venue and made for a nice, intimate show. And the wine selection was good”
