“I love Desnuda. I come here often after hair appointments with the BF and always sit at the bar. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant while having a great upbeat energy. Camilo always makes the best cocktails, he is the best!! I got a lovely cocktail with a spicy pisco, yuzu liqueur and a beet syrup that was the perfect balance of sweet, spicy and smoky. The ceviche and acevichado roll are delicious if you are a raw seafood lover. The fried Yuca and carne tacos are also a must! 10/10 experience every time.”
“Wandered in late on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and got a table right in the open window. Such a delightful experience from the attentive, friendly service to the creatively balanced cocktails, the sexy vibe and the delicious food. Everything we ordered was amazing. This is a perfect date or girls’ day/night spot, and I will definitely return!”
“Desnuda Cocina & Bar absolutely nailed it. We had a table of 7 and from the moment we arrived, the hospitality was incredible. Our server, Crystal, was genuinely fantastic, attentive, warm, accommodating, and completely on top of everything all night long. We only found out toward the end of our visit that it was just her second shift, which honestly shocked all of us because she handled a packed restaurant like a total pro. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. We had a 7PM reservation and ended up staying until almost midnight because the atmosphere was just that good. The vibes were perfect, the music was great, and it turned into one of those nights you don’t want to end with friends. And the food? Unreal. We ordered over 20 items across the table and not a single miss. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully done. Desnuda is the kind of place that gets everything right - the service, energy, food, and overall experience. Can’t wait to come back.”
“Nice place that attracts a good mixed crowd. Super intimate vibe! The food and cocktails are both highlights here. My favorite was the salmon tiradito with tiger milk and the chicken skewers were great. This might be an unclassy take but I wish the elote came with some hot Cheeto dust! But overall great flavors, especially in the dips. Will be back to try the pork belly skewers and to go downstairs!”
“An all together disappointing experience. We came here on a Wednesday night the place was mostly empty. Our server while nice was very curt and felt apathetic (I couldn't tell if that was just their inflection in voice or actual feelings, either way it came off as apathetic). I was initially hoping to get the Maiz drink, they didn't have all the ingredients (no worries, it happens). Got the stone and salt and while it was good, it was just that good. Not remarkable in any way. The food came quick, almost too quick. We ordered the guac and elotes and they were dropped on our table within minutes. The yuca fries and miso eggplant and steak skewer we ordered in the second go around. Everything was average - nothing jumped out as amazing. In fact I would say the yuca fries were quite dense on the inside and not that crispy on the outside. The potatoes with the steak skewers were literally just 3 small potatoes that had no other seasoning or thought behind it. The miso eggplant was probably the most interesting dish. Finally dessert, we got their nightly special and right before it came out the server did hey, we don't actually have the chocolate sauce that comes with the brownie do you want a strawberry sauce instead. Now, if it's your night special and the restaurant was half empty and we were there earlier in the evening, either you magically ran out of it all, or it's not your "special". Either way without the chocolate sauce it was extremely dry. The server was nice enough to let us know if we didn't like it they would take it back and that was the outcome, a one bite sent it back. Now apparently there's a whole downstairs speakeasy section with a different drink menu (Japanese inspired) with a DJ etc. we didn't go down there as we were already quite underwhelmed by the upstairs but maybe the downstairs is more "whelming". Finally I would say the price to value ratio is massively off. The vegetarian dishes are massively overpriced for what they are which is very normal dishes that are "elevated" in look and to that I would argue they fall flat.”
