Chic little spot for Greek food and wine.
“Fantastic little spot. Very accommodating for our lunch with our baby. Great patio and great food. I loved the sea bass fish. Everything we had was great.”
“great greek spot with really bright flavors and a cozy, low-key room. the dips, grilled items, and house bread were all on point, and the whole meal had that relaxed taverna feel without trying too hard. staff was super friendly and the pacing was so quick - everything was out so fast do you could enjoy all the tapas together, so we got to just sit, eat, and enjoy it. would go for a laid-back meal or a group hang. for sure a solid neighborhood gem.”
“Last minute booked a lunch today at KAVA since we noticed availability opened up, and it was definitely worth the hype! We initially had booked patio seating but the weather was bad so staff kindly accommodated us inside and made it work super smoothly with other reservations. The food was delicious, fresh, flavorful… We had trouble picking one but the braised beef with orzo was definitely a favorite! Honestly everything we ordered was worth it. The mille feuille dessert is also absolutely amazing. Staff were super friendly and service was impeccable, we received the food quick and everyone was attentive to our needs. Even shared some recs for our stay in Boston. Overall great experience 🐟💙”
“This local Greek restaurant was very worth visiting on my trip. Located in the South End, I decided to walk here and it was amazing. Despina was the hostess and she got me a spot at the bar. She was very welcoming and offered me a spot to have a drink before my seat was available. My waiter Leon was very knowledgeable, I got to try a few dishes which I really enjoyed. Their wine selection was also very well curated as it paired very nicely with my plates. The calamari was very fresh and spiced, the fried zucchini was very original as it was not like most places I had been to. Theirs had a twist to it as it’s crispier but also the dip under the crisps was very flavourful. The octopus was the star of the show, it was very fresh and cooked to perfection. For dessert, I went with the baklava which was a solid choice. Overall the staff was super nice, it was a nice feel as it wasn’t a big restaurant and it felt very cozy. The south end is such a nice area and I definitely recommend this place.”
“I’ve been to Kava a couple of times and everytime I come back my experience always beats the last. The food is ridiculously good and always so fresh, i honestly find myself craving it. Drinks are refreshing & consistent and the coffee that they use there is delish. Service is great, nothing feels rushed, just touch points to see how everything is going and if you need anything. Shoutout Gabe who served my friend and I! Also, Max the bartender has severed my sisters and made a lasting impression with his service/ banter. Always appreciated. Need to try more things on the menu. My sisters and I love coming in here and it’s always a treat to take my friends/ clients if they haven’t been yet. They’re open for brunch on the weekend which is always a vibe!”
