“Vibey spot on the water. Beautiful inside and out. The space is roomy with a fun bar to access. The menu is delicious and the staff is pleasant. Also if you take the ferry, it’s close by so it’s easy to get to!”
“We recently had a joint 30th birthday party here and it was an absolute fabulous time. The Reelhouse event coordinator, Cassie and General Manager, Emily were so easy to work with, beyond kind, and overall made planning easy. A few days before we had to switch to indoor (from originally outdoor) and the team was so accommodating. The staff during the party were attentive & seemed to be happy to be helping! Not to mention it’s so beautiful in Reelhouse so we only needed minimum decorations. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely plan an event there again.”
“ReelHouse is the kind of place that makes an impression the second you walk in. The view alone is enough to make you want to stay awhile. Sitting right on the East Boston pier and waterfront, you get this incredible look at the Boston skyline, and at sunset it is honestly beautiful. Whether you sit inside or outside, the whole setting feels elevated and relaxing at the same time. This is a great place to come with a date, with friends, or even by yourself if you just want a really nice meal and a view that makes the whole experience feel worth it. It has that classy, upscale feel without being uncomfortable, and the atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy your time there. I had the clam and corn chowder, and the flavor was excellent. I also ordered the moules frites, and that was another standout. The mussels were cooked really well and had great flavor. It is the kind of dish that can easily be shared with two or three people, but if you come hungry, you can definitely finish it on your own. The fries were a little small and basic, so next time I would probably try the truffle fries instead. The food is definitely on the expensive side and the portions are not huge, but the taste, atmosphere, and location make it easy to understand why people like this place so much. I also appreciated that the water came in a glass bottle instead of plastic. Small detail, but it matched the polished feel of the restaurant. Overall, ReelHouse is a beautiful spot with amazing views, great food, a strong bar and dessert setup, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to come back. This is the kind of place people rave about for a reason.”
“First time in this restaurant and the food was real good!!!! The lobster roll cold in mayonnaise was fantastic, the eggplant rolls was epic and the shrimp’s wonderful!! About the drink espresso martini with baleys I loved it and the new dessert in the menu pineapple tres leche was lovely!!!! I can even tell about the service it was 20/10 loved the place and the atmosphere I definitely would come back!!!”
“Hands down - fantastic restaurant. Highly recommend. The duck was absolutely fantastic. The swordfish absolutely fantastic. We were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary with family - just wrote a small mention of it in our reservation. The manager sent over a glass of champagne for a toast for everyone (and even noticed my pregnant daughter-in-law and brought her a non-alcoholic bubbly). Super nice touch. Really appreciated it. Then they carried out this dessert board with candles on it. I thought they were just going to show us their dessert options. Instead they set it down. Lit the candles and the manager came over and Said “we want to wish you a very happy 36th wedding anniversary”. We were all stunned and excited to get to try so many yummy desserts. The tiramisu was the hands down favorite - but all were excellent! Check out the photos below!”
