“I found this place months ago because I was craving some fried catfish and there was nowhere else in walking distance that had reasonably priced seafood. I’ve only ever ordered takeout but I am always impressed by the food, the service, and pricing. Everything from the seafood boils to the baskets is drenched in flavor and reminds me of the South (where I’m from). Plus, the food is always hot even after a ten minute walk in freezing temperatures. I’ve only just now felt motivated to write a review because when I went to pick up my order this evening, I was greeted like a regular customer and offered a beverage with my meal - a perfect example of above and beyond service! I wish I had gotten the name of the man who served me because he’s doing his job amazingly!”

“Shaking Crab is a solid spot in Downtown Boston. I'll be honest — I went to a seafood restaurant and ordered the mac and cheese and buffalo wings, and both were genuinely good. No regrets. The service was friendly and responsive, which always goes a long way. As for the atmosphere, think no-frills hole-in-the-wall pizza shop energy — casual, a little rough around the edges, not cozy or particularly relaxing, but not off-putting either.
