“The food here was excellent, I really enjoyed the tuna and shrimp tempura rice bowl. I thought the price point was okay for the seafood. Unfortunately, my virgin mojito didn't have any mint in it, it was just lime. I would have much preferred being told there was no mint so I could order something else.”
“This place was solidly fine. I appreciated how it wasn’t too loud inside, even though it was rather busy. Service was just ok. Our server and every other staff member we interacted with were very friendly, but it took forever to have our orders taken, or even just to receive water. Once we’d finally ordered, it took long enough for our food to come out that another (very kind) staff member thought we’d finished our meal and came to ask if we needed anything else (the implication being he was ready to bring our check to us). The food was very tasty though, and my cocktail was delicious. Everyone in my party really enjoyed their meals. Prices for drinks are standard/a little below average for Boston, but I thought some of the food prices were quite expensive for what you got. The two Ahi tacos I got didn’t really fill me, and I ended up walking away hungry (which is a big statement from me, since I tend to get full very quickly). Weirdly one thing that really stuck out to me was the bathroom. It was clean, but so run down looking that it was very much at odds with the rest of the restaurant. Two out of three sinks were not working. I could not wrap my brain around how dreary this bathroom looked in a place that probably brings in a bunch of money. I really wanted to truly like this place, and really did enjoy my food, but there was just a lot that was off about the experience. Will I go back? I mean, it’s very conveniently located right next to the opera house, so chances are high I’ll end up here again some time when I see another show there. But will I go back if I don’t have a musical to see and limited time to eat beforehand? Probably not, to be honest.”
“Ambiance indoors was pretty lacking, I recommend sitting outside or else not coming here. Wine glasses were dirty (can’t tell from the picture but both glasses were). Food was ok, but not worth a meal if you’re a visiting tourist and have limited meals.”
“Super rude server. Had a reservation and sat outside, ordered drinks, when asked if we wanted food I said just drinks for now and the server instantly demanded we go inside. Asked to finish our drink and then we’d move to the bar, and he said “no, go inside right now”. crazy attitude especially considering the place was empty. Would not recommend to anybody and honestly that server is clearly in the wrong business”
“Survive and good and everything were fine.. Nothing exceptional. But don’t try and use the restorations if you want to actually wash your hands. I had to wipe soap off my jabs with paper towels…”
