“This place is really cool. In a hotel. Very dimly lit. The place was packed when me and my husband went. We were going for drinks only so we tried to get a seat at the bar. The bar tender! Wow he deserves a raise. He was so kind to us, came around the bar after making our drinks to serve us and let us know we are next to get seats at the bar. Once someone got up and another girl tried to snag the seat the bar tender quickly prompted her to get up and that we had been waiting. Every drink was superb. Ugh I wish I could remember the bartenders name. He was the highlight of the night. He was very passionate about craft quality cocktails and even told us he competes in high stakes cocktail competitions.”

“The burger wasn’t enormous, but it was VERY good. Every bite had a little bit of everything. The martini was premade, but I actually love that. I think it creates for a more consistent experience. The bartender was very attentive. I was there on a Friday around 6, but that didn’t stop him from chatting with me while making drinks.”

“My husband and I stayed at Newbury, and we went here every day, if not twice, some days. We just really enjoyed the laid-back and classy ambiance. Not jam-packed with kids or young kids but more of an older crowd. We had no problems with finding a spot to sit and grabbing cocktails and appetizers. We tried their deviled eggs and oysters, which were delicious. You really can't go wrong with any of the cocktails there. Our service was top notch each time we went. G, Tyler, and there was another bartender from Bulgaria, and I didn't catch her name. They were all great and made great recommendations.”
