“Went for dinner. The service was amazing. We had two entrees - short ribs and halibut - and a couple sides and dessert, and the flavors in every dish were absolutely outstanding. I’m almost speechless over this delicious meal and can’t believe they don’t have a 5.0 rating.”

“Was in the local market nearby. Needed to use the restroom but they only had porta potties so we decided to go to this cafe. This was a great idea. The vibe here is so friendly and lively. The restroom is clean. My friend and sister absolutely LOVED their iced macchiatos. The espresso is rich and the salted caramel drizzle was perfect. Worth the $9”

“I’ve visited this restaurant a dozen times perhaps and always have a great time. In the past though, I didn’t love the seasoning and flavors as much even though the food was well prepared. This time, the food tasted great. I was craving a scone for some reason for days and I devoured the scones, the coffee, the biscuits and gravy, all vegetarian options! The only reason I gave a 4-star and not a 5 is because we had a reservation and we still got a wait and then were given a table really close to the door. We were feeling cold so we requested to move but the staff said they couldn’t change that. It seemed a little bad because we made a reservation, could see some open tables inside when we requested the change and hadn’t even gotten our food or drinks until then so it wouldn’t have been a big shift. All in all though, the food was great and I went with friends so we had a great time!”

“I’m sorry but whoever said the brunch food here is good must have never tasted real good brunch food! First of all nothing is warm, even eggs are cold, no bread is crispy, the bread that comes with turkey eggs I don’t know what it is but it’s clearly old bread! Just because we eat it with creamy sauce doesn’t mean you can provide old bread! That’s such a big no no for brunch! This is so terrible I would recommend people to NOT come. We got the biscuits grits, turkey eggs, croissant French toast, breakfast plate, lox and bagel. Total over 130 dollars I think the only thing we were able to finish was the lox and bagels but who would come here for lox and bagels when there are 76 other better bagel places to go? And the service? Um….not impressed. 📣 Dear Madison, perhaps you missed it that the server didn’t bother with our first request as we sat down, and naturally for the rest of the meal there is no need to express anything to him. The contrast in the Turkey eggs? I’m sorry but there was none, there was cold everything and stale bread. With all due respect, when we go to a restaurant, we experience the food, the service, the ambience and the price performance, not just how often the meaningless check ins of the waiter. We were in and out in 40 minutes because we were catching a ferry, not because the food and service were particularly impressive. And if you were truly genuine you would not be arguing against what we honestly experienced. For those others reading: this may be your type of brunch food but if you are willing to get out of Bothell, you may see what I mean”

“We visited for brunch with our 19-month-old and, since we didn’t have a reservation, were quoted a 30-minute wait for indoor seating. Given the cold weather and having a toddler with us, we decided to wait and spent some time walking nearby. When we were seated, our table was right next to the entrance door. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but with the constant cold air coming in and out—and a young child with us—we requested if we could move to one of the empty tables further inside. We were told those tables were being held for guests with reservations, and our request was declined. While I understand honoring reservations, it was disappointing given that several tables remained empty during that time and we were already seated. As for the food, it was average. I ordered the pear salad, expecting the pear to be warm, but it was served chilled, which didn’t work well for me. The vegan coffee cake, which I had high hopes for based on reviews, was quite dry. The ambiance is pleasant, drinks are nice, but overall the service and food did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience. Also, not many Jain options.”
