“We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at La Mondina and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the place had such a warm, inviting vibe — modern yet cozy, with beautiful lighting and a relaxed, upscale-casual atmosphere. The food was outstanding across the board. We started with the beautiful raw clams on the half shell, perfectly fresh and served on an ice platter with cocktail sauce and lemon. We also did the home made focaccia bread, meatballs, and salad. All of which we’d get again. The lobster and corn risotto was rich, creamy, and packed with sweet lobster chunks — one of the best risottos I ever had. The handmade pasta with the hearty meat sauce was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. My mother in law got the fish and she loved it! Every single plate was beautifully presented and full of fresh, high-quality ingredients. I had the pork chop and it was huge! It had so many amazing flavors and something I’d gladly order again. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They made great recommendations and really enhanced our experience with their warm service. The cleaned off the table between each course as well. If you’re in the Brielle area looking for excellent Italian-inspired food in a great atmosphere, La Mondina is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend.”

“What a wonderful return visit. I had fortunately made a reservation so we’re able to eat inside. Appetizers were delish… The entrees were as expected- exceptional. We tried a few of their daily specials and were not disappointed ! Hubby even found room to have dessert. Even though I was soooo full, I tried his lemon cheesecake and was quite surprised of its flavors. Make a reservation- you won’t be disappointed👍🏽”

“Excellent, first time. I had high expectations for this restaurant. Atmosphere, restaurant was packed however felt cozy and classy. Service, Ryann was very professional and attentive. The Food perfecto, We ate chicken parm vodka sauce wasn't on the menu, however Ryann made it happen. We also ordered Caesar salad and the pasta bolognese delicious! Dessert we ate the most delicious Italian donuts. Pistachio martini to top everything off. Well done!”

“An outstanding dining experience from start to finish! The New York strip steak on special was cooked to perfection, and the bombolini donuts were a heavenly finish. What truly elevates this spot, however, is the service—Mark and Melissa were attentive, witty, and effortlessly accommodating, making every moment enjoyable. Sitting at the back bar, I could see why they’re hailed as some of the best bartenders in the tri-state area—a bold claim that they absolutely live up to. Friendly, professional, and memorable—I will definitely be returning!”

“Service was great Kelly was excellent Chris was great as well. Pork scarp was delicious. Bert salad with shrimp was great. Gnocchi as ok, penne vodka with chicken was a little better. Recommend the pork scarp.”
